Old_Lion's Sidars - Getting rid of noisy neighbors [game 2 SIV Old_Lion vs Q]

Ok.
I started a new game due to settings difficulties.
I may comment here as I initially intended, but one of my aims is to get comments and advices, as I'm not used to play vs humans.

Will there be any lurker or player able to comment and advice, or should I just give a bare minimum info, or none.

Ask for help. You just need a dedicated lurker.

So after so technical difficulties, we started a new game.

We've already be playing a few turns.
And it turns out that the map is very small..
our cities are very close to each other and it might end up soon if some rush succeds.
My scout in the north just found a warrior..== frown
and the other warrior next to my city could possibly end the game this turn...

If he attacks and fails on the city, I'll probably go to hunting fast and send a divided soul to prevent any city improvement
(divided soul allow either to perform surprise attacks, or to attack and retreat securely.

There is also a lair just north of the city...

any thought ?

Your warrior in the city definitely has the odds against Lanun's warrior - at least +25% from city defense bonus and +10% from the culture bonus. It looks like you can get new warrior out in time as well.

I'll post a picture later, but the game goes forward on a rather good rythm for now.

it is turn 27 already

So the events were, from my point of view :
=> I lost my scout on the turn 10 immediately after the previous picture
=> the lanum warrior popped the lair, and it got monsters :
- the lanum warrior died, and there was at least an named ogre and a chaos marauder
- The chaos marauder was killed by the other warrior (the scout killer)
- The Ogre sits on the lair. not sure what happens when another monster (skelleton I guess) pops.

the surviving warrior stays two squares away from my city : it has 3 promotions. combat 1 and 2 and melee

EDIT : btw, I'm at last building a worker, I felt too insecure before.

=> I went for 3 warriors, then a granary. I also had the monument event and I choose to take the monument.
I just switched to god king.
My warriors stayed at home, so I did no exploration. The land belongs to Lanum (!) for now.

The situation in 2 pictures :

I had to focus on warriors in order to siply survive barbarian attacks.
I'm back to 3 warriors and a worker, on par with Q, I guess. (military score.

One of my warriors killed the ogre and is almost level 5. I think I'll turn it into a specialist as soon as possible (skeletton kill), because.... I'm late ! I got a size 4 city vs a size 6, and I'm far bhind in terms of every production aspect.
Still, as Sandalhon, I'm think I'm still in for the complacency tower.

I'm going for a specialist economy (obviously), but I have little strategic thinking, so any idea, advice is welcome.
