Just out of curiousity Gaz, when he is acting scummy, why did you feel it necessary to throw him a lifeline?

Thoughts? Not sure if I'm ready to push this case but he isn't being very convincing, so far.

Confirmation bias is a hard thing, once you feel like you might have caught a wolf its hard to give them the benefit of the doubt again. I do feel that Pindisaul is scummish though. The Dtay name mistake is irrelevant, but is he being confrontational as Saul says? I wouldn't say so.

I would put Mattimeo as second most likely potential scum, but assume we'll see more of him when he wakes up in an hour or so.

Because regardless of his alignment, I don't believe that he would make an attention-grabbing mistake about a player's identity as some kind of weird scum gambit, so the lifeline is purely trying to help out Pindicator the person rather than Doctor Saul the potential worshipper of Dagon.

What about AdrienIer? Seems we agreed on one scumtell on him:

See guys! I'm not scum. This is what I would do if I were scum. So obviously I'm totally not scum!

That was actually more of a joke post :P AdrienIer seems a little bit more complex than something that simple. I don't give him any town cred for the statement, but it doesn't make me think scum either.

Nice flowchart. I'm currently stuck at "choose the person that is scummiest". smile

I think Doctor Saul may be narrowly it, though.
If you know what I mean.

My record for the last few games as real villager: Killed Night 2 twice(35 & 33) , killed night 1 (32), vigshotted by a wolf-vig Day 1 (30) . Don't ask me for sympathy because you got nightkilled early in one of the few games you played and found as scum but let live on Day 1 in another one.

Okay um, congrats for getting killed early as a villager, you're usually a solid one so that's probably why. hatsoff But you're also really misinterpreting my statement here. The nightkilled as villager isn't as big a point, and as I explained elsewhere was due to a game of bad play by me. What I'm saying is my more well known history is as a wolf, and therefore if dtay's plan was serious, I'd be a policy lynch almost, and naturally, I don't like that, since I'm town and am tired of getting extra pressure due to my previous outings. Am I not allowed sympathy for lucking into a bad rep that seems to always result in this same old circus every game?

Well if that's your main read on me then you're full of crap. Sure I 'brought it up', but mainly as a joke. I was thinking of something funny to say while waiting on my noodles to boil, not trying to give myself an out or something. You're the one that took the opening barter and turned it into:

In short I currently find BRick more scummy than you (or any other). (emphasis mine)

So you're the one who's made a big deal of all this and tried to fling it in my face before I could even respond, don't go turning about and accuse me of being the one to make a big deal out of it.

Well on one hand, yes formulas are bad, it's an easy way for scum to offer their participation in a 'safeish' way, though that's been the case long enough that I think scum would know not to just do that.

But I'm kinda reminded of a previous game here, remember that game where Pindicator had that post restriction where he could only post 10 times a day? When he had that, he kinda fell into a formulaic pattern of posting by necessity, and I'm wondering if he's played since then, and/or maybe has that sort of posting pattern experience influencing how he is approaching the game now that he's playing again.

That could be total hogwash but I feel I know as much as anyone about past games really influencing future games, wanna see what you think about it.

Nice bandwagoning there zak. Can you share with the group what the scum post formula i Or were you just making it up as you go to have a reason to go with your vote? The fact that you would believe a vet has a formula for playing as scum is laughable.

You get to go on my scum list too now.
