After voting Qg for his attack on AdrienIer you are now voting with Qg to lynch AdrienIer.

Well I feel like lynching one of them.
SUNRISE
Sunrise’s attack on Mattimeo was over-the-top, then he lurked, then he gave his big post #174 which I don’t much like. He weakly attacks me and Zak, but not actually pressing the case that we are scum. Is it scummy for Zak to dial back his confidence, or just lazy?
He then avoids commenting on Pindicator, the biggest wagon of the day. He has nothing new to add. That’s fine, but does he even have a lean on it, like he did for Dtay, Mattimeo, Zak, me and Adrien? Apparently not yet.
I’m not saying he needs to do a big post on Saul, but not commenting at all buys him 12 hours to see which way the wind is blowing before making his lean known. That reminds me of Day 1 of the Traitor game where Sunrise talked about having to catch up on cases, never ended up commenting at all, and then turned out to be scum when Jowy and I shot him.
I don’t remember playing with town sunrise though, so I don’t have a town baseline for him.
MATTIMEO
Mattimeo made a post voting for Dtay because he didn't agree with his suggested policy vote policy. That doesn't read to me like a joke vote, but a genuine suggestion that Dtay is the best of a lot of bad Day 1 options, and he stuck with it for 24 hours.
Mattimeo got some heat after that and disappeared for 24 hours, then has his longish post which is mainly bluster, as he says himself.

Ackowledging your own weaknesses doesn't make them less weak.
So he's moved off Dtay. He gives the wishy washy 'Zak is a bit scummy but not worthy of a vote', and then he votes Sunrise for Sunrise's attack, which happened a relatively long time ago now.
Sum up, I can see Mattimeo's play fitting with scum. He made a post, and immediately got 2-3 votes on him. Matt is smart and knows how Day 1 rolls, so as long as he keeps quiet the pressure will move on. He posted again when it was becoming untenable to keep lurking, but I disagree with him that this is a completely white noise Day 1. Things have happened to be commented on, and his lack of engagement isn't justified.
DOCTOR SAUL
I agree with Lewwyn that Doctor Saul seems rattled. He is in pretty much full defense mode, which is understandable, but what strikes me as scummy are the few attacks he does make. He said he thought DTay seemed aggressive, which I think is pulled out of nothing. More importantly, he has focused on Fenn as his actual suspect candidate. But he’s not pushing it. This is as hard as he gets.

It's still wrong, though; he's scummy IMO but I'm still keeping my vote on Fenn. Fenn's latest posting of his itinerary felt over-the-top to me. Nobody was asking him why he had been gone -- the lurker pressure was given to Mattimeo and Sunrise (and earlier to me). He also didn't address my accusation.
Saul is in real danger of being lynched today. If he’s town, then he wants to avoid that by, as he says, nailing a wolf. Apparently he thinks he’s got one in Fenn, but he’s not questioning him, he’s not hammering pressure on. Nobody else is picking up the case either, so it’s looking like Fenn won’t hang. In that situation, shouldn’t Saul be either doubling down on getting movement on Fenn, or switching to pressuring secondary suspects?
His relative lack of hunting strikes me as scummy. He doesn’t want to die, but he’s not interested enough in finding out who the eldritch horrors are. I think that is a stronger scum tell than the ones on Matt and Sunrise, whose cases are a bit interchangeable anyway, so I’ll switch back to Doctor Saul.

Yes, Qgqqqqq's case was still forced, and based only on the random vote. Except you corrected me on that.
I can suspect both, surely?
I have to run.

Novice, have you changed your opinion on Saul? What in his posting made you move off him?

What do you consider as more useful? Oh I missed this somehow, I mean joining the wagon that looks best, I don't want to waste my vote voting for him on my own

Mattimeo, it seems to me like you over-reacted to Dtay's post, (deliberately misconstrued I could say, if I was feeling cruel), then started lurking.
Sunrise over-reacted to your post (deliberately misconstrued?), then started lurking.
If you are town, don't you think he deserves the benefit of the doubt? Why does this make Sunrise the scummiest of 14 options?

*After 36 hours of bitter accusations, the townsfolk have fallen into exhausted silence, so only the shrieking of the wind and the creaking of the boards fill the fetid air of this cursed fishing village. Outside the gibbet creaks in the gale, awaiting its first victim.*
So yeah, I think it's too quiet given we are approaching the crunch phase of Day 1.
Commodore, can we get another vote tally?
