Ah, the late day run begins.
I have to go out, so I can't be on at deadline. So whether or not Mattimeo wakes up in time to post, I won't be able to change my vote. But if he did convince me, I'd swing to Sunrise over Fenn.
Mattimeo's not just a policy lynch, I think his attack on Dtay was weak and his attack on Sunrise hypocritical. And he never answered my further questioning about his Sunrise vote.

Kind of agree, even though it can be tempting to make something out of nothing, just to get going.
I also think Mattimeo's attack on dtay is a bit of a stretch. Maybe the atmospheric noise was on to something.
Mattimeo
So why Fenn and not Mattimeo?

I ask because this is zak in the first part of the day, before my bandwagon started

Also, if you want to play more games, having a policy of "always vote for the best wolf players," also known as "always vote for the same people," is not likely to encourage them to play more games with you.
dtay
I don't see the link between the first two paragraphs and the actual vote. Is it a policy vote, or what? Fill me in, please.
You haven't pushed him since my bandwagon and now you're voting with me and ignoring the Mattimeo wagon?
And just today you wrote

Why forget Mattimeo when he hasn't said anything since?
I'm back to zakalwe

Saul if your initial accusation is about me repeating Lewwyn's style in my first post - that was just a coincidence. Haven't posted recently because I was asleep. I'm not deliberately dodging your questions; I'll be around until deadline, so ask away.
I don't agree that zakalwe is scum based off of a lack of activity - apart from yourself the big cases here look to be mainly policy lynches for lurking - and there's only so many ways you can analyse two or three posts. I would like to know why he voted me for literally no explanation though!
While as town I don't like being accused, I can't honestly say that Doctor Saul doesn't have a point, I haven't been as active as I should have. Mattimeo's latest post is a whole lot of fluff without more content, following his sunrise attack and a long period of inactivity. It makes me more suspicious of him, not less, like he's trying to make content without contributing anything meaningful. So I'd rather lynch him at this point than Doctor Saulus who's been putting himself out there and taking positions.

Just read through Fenn's posts. All a short posts of the "light suspicion case" or "light agreement given" variety. The quantity isn't great, but is higher than Matt (or sunrise pre sunrise posting last night). Looking at it all at once it seems a lot more suspicious than when I read them each at the time of posting, this seems like it could easily be a "avoid making waves" wolf strategy.
I wouldn't really describe him as a pure lurker though, his contributions have just been... exceedingly uncontroversial.
I certainly like this case more than the case on Saul. Not sure how to weigh it against the policy case on Matt.
Crossposting with things, will add another

Fenn's new post good, availability to be questioned right now good.

Like honestly, I'm struggling to understand your reasoning here - why would two separate wagons at 3 votes apiece not generate more tells and information on players than one at 4? I'm not saying some wolf is going to be super obvious about it all - but still, there's all kinds of reaction tells that could be pulled from that scenario, especially later on in the game, once we've landed a wolf.
My questioning wasn't on what you did on it's own, but more of the fact that you did it so early in the day, and then tried to pass it off as a great tell-generating service to the town when we were still barely out of joke phase.
(February 19th, 2015, 12:37)Gazglum Wrote: Brick, what do you think about Saul, Mattimeo and Sunrise?
Saul: This feels like the pindicator I am familiar with, and if I'm honest he tends to play more like me than anyone else (i.e. the intense paranoia and defensiveness). On that note, also like me, if he's wolf he'll hang himself more as the game goes on. Don't feel like he's worth a lynch right now.
Mattimeo: This is Mattimeo Mattimeoing. Literally every game he plays he opens with very low post #s, except last game which was for all purposes a Day 3 Start anyways. I guess he could be lynched for not participating much, though the justification of that seems poor since his play isn't a wolf tell, but a meta decision. You mentioned that you didn't like the content of his posts, but I think they're at least honest, if wrong in some assumptions. Overall, not a horrid choice if you factor in meta, but I wouldn't enjoy policy lynching a known lurker for lurking, it'll probably get us the least usable info.
Sunrise: I think he's... okay? His biggest recent post is #174, which has a lot of good points and then has that weird misunderstanding of zak's wording. Also this quote:
(February 18th, 2015, 23:29)sunrise089 Wrote: Also, my unofficial goal for this game is to not post least per day. I'm not going to pull a "lynch me if that's not good enough for you" thing, but it's not realistic for me to contend with post leaders.
feels kinda oddly self-cognizant. I don't feel like I have a strong enough lead to advocate doing one thing or the other with him.

Your attack on Saul seemed genuine. It felt like a villager trying to nail a scum with thought put into it.
But what changed that you switched from

Rereading, and Qgqqqqq has fallen off the map since this post - no comments on anything that's been happening since then. The posts he did make are mostly defensive, explaining his AdrienIer vote or his voting Brick to push the wagons to equal voting totals. Not any reads either, apart from saying that Adrien's early behaviour was weird. He did say that he wouldn't have much time for the game but it's still a startling lack of movement from Q's side.
