Sunrise reread done and analyzed :
I don't like his D1 actually. This could definitely be a scum staying on scum for the day hoping to get off him before deadline, then when he realizes he's become part of a wagon decides to wait and see, then understands he's not going to save his buddy so stays where he is.
Overall only post 533 517 284 174 and the beginning's Matt vs Dtay controversy (posts 80 and 84) have content in them, plus 2 or 3 1-liners. Add to that 3 or 4 defensive posts and you have all the Sunrise contributions. I'm feeling very uncomfortable attacking people on lack of content but apparently no one else does this so I'll have to : this is not enough I think, even if he's short on time.

I'm not 100% on it either, but I think he's worth examining. And I'm not crazy about the answer he just gave to Brick.
What I do think is that we shouldn't be so quick to give out town points for votes against Mattimeo that look good in hindsight. I don't think it was an active bus job, but I know Mattimeo as scum had told not to try to save him in a previous game.
I don't think the self vote was scummy. It read like someone having fun with the game, if anything it reads more town to me.

Putting Matt to 5 votes, compared to I think 4 on you. That was a key moment in getting a Mattimeo lynch off the ground, plus Adrien did it best to swing it further by emphasising he thought you were innocent. So the only way I can see Adrien being plausibly scum is if you are too, and he was choosing between two friends.
See my reasoning above as to why I disagree with you here. Coincidentally voting Mattimeo was also one of the main town points I have for Gaspar but I haven't seen a lot from him that I like outside of that.
Quote:It reminds me of your Fenn case, Saul. Vehement finger pointing at an easy target for relatively small slip-ups. Do you really think Adrien is the scummiest target today?
And when Fenn posted more I dropped the case because he was posting much better day 2.
Quote:Are you basing the stuff about Adrien trying to distance himself from the Q-case on Q being scum, or Q being town?
Trying to not go down that rabbit hole right now. Both seem like possible outcomes but my questioning is independent of Q's alignment. What I want to see is AdrienIer do more than coast by
Quote:You are right about one thing though - Adrien should be more active.
At least we agree on this

I totally agree.
Me too.

I bodyguarded Gaspar, who has promised us a tour-de-force performance today.
Gazglum, shouldn't you have breadcrumbed who you protected (or did you?). If you had turned up dead it would have been useful for town to know that Gaspar was the one who was attacked.
I have to run.

Considered that, but scum could just target me directly and then you have a potentially false positive on someone that a scum could coast on for a long time.

He had no reason based in reality for pushing Zak. The most likely explanation is that he jumped into action to save a scumbuddy, and chose Zak because he had registered other people suspecting Zak. He fails to get his facts straight about why Zak is suspicious. A town player would have no reason to push Zak like this in similar circumstances. If you're not properly caught up, why would you feel that Mattimeo is worth saving?
Novice, has your opinion of Q shifted at all since posting this? What do you think about his Day 2 and 3 posts?
My assessment of his day 1 is unchanged. His day 2 started with the terrible post 423, after that I guess he didn't incriminate himself much further, if I make an effort to strip away confirmation bias.
Thinking of Q's day 2 reminded me of his claim, though.

Shouldn't Q have noticed as soon as Mattimeo flipped that he had the exact same role as himself? He must have read up on how his own role worked, after all he submitted a night action to visit Saul. TBH I'm not sure if this is a scum tell but it is very odd.
I have to run.

Holy Crap Qg. What did you do copy and paste my argument and then change a few words like a cheating college student? I'm a teacher I can smell lazy plagiarism.

What's happenin' bro?
Is Novice back in the town basket? Is that Q post enough to over-ride you being more certain on Novice than anything else in the game? Can you go through your thought processes a little more here?

Gonna join up more tonight, I have lots of tuesday class
Short thoughts
Gaz is seeming very towny to me
Qqqqqq's role mixup is weird, need to reread
Agree with recent gaz post that lew's turnaround on novice is strange and needs explaining

I haven't interacted with Qg all game. I get better reads when someone is responding to me or what I've done in some way. That post though is basically my words coming out of his mouth. I went back and looked from that perspective and realized I hadn't really read Qg in that light. Qg really feels pretty scummy throughout. Day 1 novice doesn't feel too scummy and Day 3 novice doesn't feel to scummy. Day 2 novice does still feel scummy and I don't like that night post. But honestly Day 2 was a really lazy day and too many people weren't talking, it wasn't just novice.
But that Qg post just crystallized it for me.

Shorter version
1) Looking at lew/novice history atm
2) Thinking about possibel Matt bus - this seems unlikely to have been planned from the get go, just unnecessarily costly compared to d2 bus. A bus that starts as/after Matt is on the block as a plausible lynch seems more likely to me. Not sure offhand who voted to get Matt on the block as opposed to voted once he was already there.
I'm also liking day 3 novice more, and Q less.
Good start Adrien! Keep em coming. Do you think sunrise is being lazy or do you think he's scum hiding? That's what I meant by taking ownership: take a stand
Qgqqqqq after reading novice and Lewwyn today
