I just thought it was slightly different (the prior nights thing) and didn't bother to check for a good while. And why would scum not know how a role (which was likely posted in the scumthread day 1) worked?

So my lack of reading up on things isn't a tell one way or another, especially not in a game where I've had consistently low time and a predilection for less commitment.

Quote:Qg is known to be a good player. He is known to be an excellent scum player. He is known to be currently busy. Why can't he use all that knowledge, and make a difficult play by being scum pretending to be a bored, non-engaged townie? Were talking about a man who, last game, made his on QT thread just to keep his thoughts in order as scum. I can so see someone playing this game, especially with the added bit about a similar gambit to last game (claiming cop, claiming knower). It would be challenging yes. It would also be beautiful and terribly effective.
I f you think anything I've done this game is beautiful play...
Anyway, if you ask players more knowledgeable of me, or say Brick who I had a series of long general play discussions with last game, you'll discover one thing - I don't do gambits. Indeed, if you read the QT I made for myself last game, one of the reasons i did the gambit is because I thought id be slam dunk lynched fast regardless, and it was a chance to try a gambit where we as a team were pretty screwed anyway.
Novice, sure that's what you do. Good for you, but if I do that then ill never read the background at all. And yes it has been asked and answered. And the answer is still bad.
Oh and Saul is super towny IMO.

Okay, I think I get it. But as scum I have it shoved in my face (and besides, I'm claiming based on Matts rather than an esoteric pm - why wouldn't I want it exactly the same?) earlier, so I have to read it. In, say, Batmafia, there was a list of 20 roles or something - that's a sight different.

I voted Q because absent a good case of my own I'm going with the vote of Lewwyn who I trust is town due to his play. You already had a reason to vote me and called me scummy several times but had to wait for Zak and Novice both to vote before putting your money where your mouth is.
Or are you saying you really didn't think I was scummy amd just decided to parrot the people who thought I was?
Why thank you for the insult Saul. You will have to forgive me if I don't return the favor. I posted something I thought was funky. You overreacted. Others posted something about your overreaction, which I agreed with. I voted for you after that. I wasn't sure if I was over reading your overreaction. I'm going to leave this argument here however, since you are obviously getting very offended, and it's not an issue that needs to be resolved today.

Since I've succeeded in complimenting Qg, and evidently pissing Saul off, I'm gone. I'll be back at earliest around 330pm pst, if not, then I won't be on until around 10pm. Good luck folks.

You're using the argument that if you were scum, of course you would know how exactly a role worked, since it was posted in the thread and/or talked about. So I'm bringing to attention that you've said yourself that the roles part of it is something you don't think about primarily, and what your knowledge of them is shouldn't be used to call you town or scum, which is contradicting your previous statement where you're using that to appeal to your play as town.

I didn't try to shut anything down other than wasting time.
I hardly have the authority anyway.
What leads? If Qg is town anyone who tried to steer this lynch gets a second look, absolutely including myself.
I've got some dirt on my shoulder, can you brush it off for me?
