Me? Lynch an obv-villager because he seems to villagery? Never.
Seriously though I think I have a good read on the remaining players. dtay or Jabbz is the tipping point though. I see villager stuff, but Jabbz on Day 2 had some terrible posting at the end of the day too. If I had more time I was going to point that out as well. Super unfortunate that all of my family was here and I'v just been so busy.

Gaspar and Lewwyn don't need to roll lovers, they live it! Including the backstabbing hate
The backstabbing bit is especially poignant at this point.

It was one of the things about this game that really got to me. Everyone is just silent at the beginning of Days. Crazy.

Brick makes up interesting fake-claim to get Novice lynched, then hopes he has town points to get through? He could be genuine though, but either way, I would be voting Gaspar today over anyone else.
Hey that's pretty much what I thought too! I hope the village understands that. I was going to explain this more but I ran out of time today!

GG Gaspar. I'm sorry if you didn't enjoy it as much as you would have on the other side. Amusing, because I was wishing I had rolled scum this time. But I think it's been a fun and good natured game for all so far.
2 losses on each side, I would normally think that town should win from here, but the players are dividing so strongly into 'suspicious' and 'towny' camps, that if there is a scum with deep cover they would have a shot of winning. My guess is that after Day 3 the scum strategy would have been to be willing to sacrifice Gaspar/someone to give the final player a better chance, and I still think that its Brick and Novice who are trying a Maximum Distancing gambit. I could be totally wrong though, and can't wait to read the QT.
Thank you too! I'm just happy to play a villager game this time. It's been a long while.
I think the village has a pretty good shot at the win, but they really need to not be too paranoid. But it's my fear as well that there is a deep cover scum. I am afraid its Adrien. I keep going back to the what if I'm wrong idea. I mean I read the thread and his posts and it seems on the up and up to me, but if I'm wrong ugh. I'm totally on board with Brick as scum trying to buy townie innocence by bussing novice. Especially since it came right after Gaspar gets heat. God, I wish I could have extrapolated this a bit more.
I mean how long did we need to be at the mall for family!?

I guess the first 2 days favour players who are more intuitive, and the later days players who are more logical. I think Ichabod, for example, plays his relative best in the early game, while Lewwyn picks up steam as he goes.
I never think this is true, but then every time it happens. Like I get worried as town that I won't be able to make the insights later, but everything always seems to crystallize for me right around the end of Day 3. Its like that's how long I need to pull out the patterns. Though if I'm right about novice then I've basically had scum in my sights since the end of Day 2.
Also I think being a multi-shot vig just goes to my head. When I have a 1-shot vig role I am much better.
And that's it so far for comments. Just rego-ing it up in here. Had so much energy to burn.
Thanks for the game commodore, I really enjoyed this one. Hopefully village can pull it out.

Ooops. One more I forgot to hit post on this.

Independent of the fact that I know the score, Lewwyn's thoughts on sunrise are pretty terrible. He was scum in a game with me and Mattimeo before and if he remembered that, Mattimeo was on scum everytime because he found it easier to argue their guilt. That's not a remotely uncommon scum tactic - its easier to argue someone is scum when you know they're scum. If I were alive and village, I'd be calling him scummy for that.
I do take some solace that my lynch was so locked in the village got absolutely nothing useful out of today aside from my death. I think the town will win, but I think it will come down to LyLo.
Yeah, that's a good point I'd forgotten Matt likes to vote for other scum. But the fact that you were voting for him too makes me think I might be right that he's not scum, but its very possible that sunrise is scum. Honestly, I have no idea for sure after novice right now. I just knew we had to get some traction lynching you before we got to that point. We may not have gotten too much useful info from the Day 4 talk, but I think it was more important to nail a scum and go from there.

I voted for you at the end mostly because I knew it didn't matter. You were lynched no matter what I did at that point and I just wanted to make it clear I thought it was suspicious. Plus, I do like jumping around at the end of the day to see what happens.
FWIW I didn't think your play was too bad overall.
Yeah in retrospect I walked into that Day 2 lynch. My play wasn't very strong or villager-y, not enough to dodge the noose at least. I think I have a hard time in the early days where's there's not much information to go on and you have to make reads mostly based off of people's tone, quantity of posting, what they avoid talking about, etc. If only people had listened to me about the zak NK, Q and I might still be alive!
You just killed it out there on Day 4, I think the village has good odds to win this assuming novice is scum. But the last scum could feasibly be anybody except Sauldicator. Possibly Doctor Saul is pulling a deep cover gambit, but that seems like a losing strategy for scum and his posts read towny to me now, so probably not. Brick's claim smells of taking refuge in audacity, so if I was alive I'd be gunning for him or sunrise after novice.

Oh hello there Rego Lewwyn
Quote:By the way, Q was not the one leading the zak cheering campaign day 1. That was me, and I have a hard time believing novice would mistakenly distort that fact.
I really should have brought this up whilst I was alive. I didn't, because IMO you've got to own your reads and doing anything else is just asking for a lynch, but I should've when it was obvious I was going to be lynched Day 3. I cheered for it, but mostly just because it was a last minute lynch push which I'd never really been on the forefront of before, and I found it fun.
