THH is still gathering gold. Is he waiting for academy before researching? Also the city of the west will go between corn and gold. That PH plant is way too slow.

I don't have any idea who got Mono 1st, but any turn where THH is not spending research on Calendar or COL is a plus (unless he teched Masonry). Looks like Mardoc built his shrine and teched an ancient tech. We won't be settling any of our cities until currency comes in but I will plant 3 very shortly thereafter. The long term plan is to settle flank cities, then settle towards Mardoc at south and eat him with Knights. I think he is definitely behind due to his tech choices and slower expansion.

I moved the settler to help out in the fogbust. Hopefully warrior can move SE next turn. Not shown in picture, a standoff between THH 's warrior and Miguelito's axe next to the latter's border city that already hooked up gems.







Wow, my C&D is awful. Now that I am doing it properly with formulas, I missed that Miguelito got a tier2 tech on T59. 95% likely currency due to large jump in rival GNP. Need to double check virtually all my math

I think you need to post some examples of why you think this.

Miguelito's PH+FP city has corn in the 2nd ring as well as a 4F seafood resource, our equivalent is not. That city is huge, it will definitely be a key commerce city. We will have to claim the corn with the next city we will plan NE of gold. Also dyes >>> incense since it is a 2 food tile. I also noticed a silk tile that he can claim with the gem city. Also his city with the pigs and hills can also claim a spice instead of a PH sheep, and it's better because the extra happy matters more. Granted there are still tiles to explore but not 100% happy with the asymmetry.

I see that the Corn placement makes a big difference, but you do seem to have a Banana that he doesn't.

Also, when you say "his city with Pigs and Hills", do you mean the location just off the West coast of your island? If it's better than the site on the other side, why wouldn't you try to claim it?

His Banana is SW of Hulk. And seems like a bad idea to settle aggressively against the #1 civ in power in two fronts.
