yes. Not pictured was a galley heading to emerald. I think that contains a settling party. if I was miguelito, I would really want to settle on the PH 2 SE of Giza for triple food. Instead, he will probably settle 1E of that tile.

Aha, just gone back in the thread to review and I hadn't realised that you were already planting the Eastern of the two spots - I assume that's Giza, since there's not a picture post-founding?

Yes. In fact, I might be tempted to settle 1E of the PH although it is unlikely.

Hmm no save yet. But I did think of a contingency plan if we lose MoM. Do the micro plan but put everything into hold by having capital work wealth and 1T pantheon. Calendar->COL->IW->Aesthetics. Then build GLB, TOA, and NE in capital in that order.

That can easily explain the huge military build up
I left it alone because I got other pressing matters
So I drew up a plan to get 4WCs on the T69 tile but that looks like coast. I will likely send 4WCs to the clam area or to the middle of the map.
Needed at least 80beakers to 3 turn calendar.
FLOOR (FLOOR ((80 + 1) * (1 + RDDW (0.30 * 1 / 4))) * (1 + 0.2 + (0.2 * 0))
FLOOR (FLOOR ((80 + 1) * (1.075)) * (1.2))
FLOOR (87 * (1.2)) = 104
104(3)+17 = 329
Only 5 more turns to go... But someone else, likely THH, did research Calendar already so we can easily lose. If all else fails, we have a backup plan. But I dunno how THH can try for MoM when he has 9 cities and need workers for his new cities. Miguelito could have researched it to start improving his calendar tiles.

Demos are looking up!
You've invested a lot into the MoM plan, let's stay the course and cross our fingers for 4 more turns.
I agree with keeping some war chariots in the middle of the map to prevent any aggressive land grabs from Mardoc, but I don't think this is the right time to start a hot war. We need to keep improving our cities, and there's plenty of land left to grab peacefully. Fighting is fun, but it would be too much of a distraction right now.
Anyways, keep up the good work. I actually like the position we're in right now, especially if war breaks out between THH and Miguel.

So Mardoc whipped 4 pop and gained 17K. I think we have to prepare defensively even. Moving warrior from gold city to middle of map to scout. Alexandria will whip spear, overflow to WC, and get in Byblios by T69 since I'm moving our 3MV! galley from north down after dropping off settler. Axe from Elephantine can land in that city next turn. Both Giza and Byblios likely will 1 whip spears as their 1st build ![scared scared](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/scared.gif) I can even whip another spear from silver city to reinforce. The tech that I thought was IW last turn could have been HBR.
BTW I think THH will get COL before us.

Something is actually bothering me a lot. Pretty sure Mardoc had 7 cities last turn but can't figure out how he can get 185k pop out of 7 cities (EDIT) and 18 total population.
