It is def confusing how he spends a while explaining why Brick is scummy and then concludes "But I think safest to lynch Adrien"

IIRC, and I'm not delving back in to make sure, he even makes the argument that Adrien being scum is dependent upon Brick being scum, and still wants to vote Adrien first. There is a reason I'm not referring to him for my decision making process.

So for you the main decision hinges on if it makes sense for me to play a gambit or not?

Kinda. Really my problem is that, based on what I'm reading, I'm at a complete impasse on deciding which of you is scum. Going back to early dead townies only provides a little bit of info, because they only had a small amount when they died. So I went to the two most recent. Saul just confused the ever loving hell out of me, so that wasn't much help. Lew on the other hand was pretty clear, though his timing is a bit out of date as well.

I don't trust dtay, and I don't trust sunrise. No help there.

So I make the best shit sandwich I can, and hope to find it's really just strange looking peanut butter.

It's okay I understand the situation and I don't envy any of you. Just know how stir crazy it's making me knowing that 100% there's a scum on the block versus me and it's looking like I'm going to be mislynched over him. Doh

Why would I bother making up a gambit to nail novice to the wall, if he already looks really scummy? Whether a person is scum or not doesn't matter to scum wanting a mislynch, it only matters how scummy the town perceives them as as a whole.

The only way something like that would make for an effective gambit would be to try and implicate two townies who both looked scummy, so you could mislynch them both before giving up yourself.

Because it puts us at LYLO, and we have NO clue who your compatriot is. NONE. You sacrifice Gaspar to give yourself credit. Then you lynch Novice on that credit. Then you get surprised because ZOMG he was town! But you still have the credit from Gaspar, and your gambit, which secures the lynch of AdrienIer. Then we lose. Even if we get it right, and lynch you, there will be 3 of us left tomorrow, probably dtay, sunrise, and myself, with one of us being scum, and none of us trusting each other. Then you still win.

Be thankful Brick, I'm giving you a shitload of credit.

Also it's to me kinda infuriating that the main thing pushing your gut seems to be that this is a gambit ploy that I made to try and secure a mislynch. Cause then the decision is all on what you think I might do if I were scum to try and confuse you a few days ago, and there's nothing I can do to try to appeal to my innocence against that.

But that plan sounds ridiculously complicated, and needlessly so.

If I was pulling this sort of gambit off, why wouldn't I have accepted novice's offer on his lynch day?

Today, I'm mislynched. Dtay is nightkilled. You'll be mislynched tomorrow and we lose.

By contrast, we can lynch Adrien today. If he's scum that's great, and we both gain town cred. If he's town, you will still be able to lynch me tomorrow (we have seen that I lose a me vs. you showdown), and you have one more day to find the last scum.

So lynching Adrien is the safe play for you.

If I were really trying to pull something on you, I could have said 'okay' here. Mislynched AdrienIer yesterday, and then mislynched obvious manipulator novice the next day, win the game woohoo. This whole infuriating debate today would have been avoided very easily.

I still want Jabbz and/or sunrise to come over to me, me switching to you is a formality.

It's consistent with how you've played all game, but sunrise is there anything to yoru reasoning besides "Lynch all liars" and the name? The name seems totally in lien with the rest of the names. Which wouldn't be hard to fake, but that just makes it a null tell. And while Brick's confidence in novice lynch is a plausible sum tell I guess, I wouldn't phrase it as lynch all liars, I think it's pretty clear from the context it's not like Brick had more independent information than the rest of us with regards to the novice/adrien dyad, and he didn't try to misrepresent it as such.

Because if Jabbz or I was scum with Adrien it would make a ton of sense to switch last second if dtay indicated he was locked in.
