Rereading always brings fun things up. For example I didn't pick up on this two days ago when dtay was setting himself up for 3 days of non stop attacks on me.

The brick=town adrien=scum solution is also viable in my mind. But you flipping scum would substantially increase how scummy I thought brick was, because the arguments for the scan being a bad gambit become far less persuasive.
So BRick says he's scanned two people and that one of them is scum, and you consider that finding out that one of them is actually scum is a point in favor of BRick's scumminess. That makes no sense at all. This was clearly you trying to slowly put suspicions on me, and at the same time setting the base for your future "BRick and Adrien are scum together" attacks.

(oh to be clear this quote was during the discussion about whether a BRick/someone pair would be possible, and dtay saying that a BRick/me pair worked well)

I fail to see how that quote is a revelation of anything... I'm being consistent in my thinking? I thought and do think that if Brick is scum it is highly likely one of the scan targets is scum. therefore, a priori someone flipping scum would only marginally increase how likely Brick is to be town (ie, catching a scum is only marginally more likely on town brick than scum brick), and then the gambit uniquely makes sense with YOU as scum because of your otherwise general town-iness in the eyes of the village and how the gambit is likely to lead to a novice mislynch first. So YOU flipping scum makes Brick gambitting pretty likely in my eyes, at least above background chance of any 1 player being scum.
Compare, a novice/brick gambit doesn't get that same likely mislynch first, which was the point I was getting at.
I can't believe you're attacking me for consistency of thinking of all things, if I had said something DIFFERENT there then you'd just go after me for being scummy for changing my mind.

I'm attacking you because this is bad logic. He said novice or me were scum, if I'm scum then he's actively helped catch a scum, a well hidden one with towncred. If we catch a scum thanks to his "power" it makes it more likely that he was telling the truth about the power. If we find town it makes it less likely. End of story.

Note: dtay made it impossible after I specifically asked him to do that
I am not scum, and I trust you less Adrien for making a case on me at this junction.
I understand I've not posted a lot, but I think my actions this game are inconsistent with being scum. To briefly re-iterate what I said about my day-1 matt vote:
Quote:*I got on Matt when he had one vote
*I stayed on him for the entire day
*A lot of flak was thrown at me claiming I had non-legit reasons for voting Matt
*I passed up an opportunity to re-assess my vote and potentially move it when asked
*I passed up the opportunity to shift to Zak when I could have made a tying vote
Similarly with the Brick lynch, I got on Brick before Jabbz or dtay, and I asked dtay to get on Brick to remove the possibility of a last-minute switch. I also made a meta-case against Brick that he actively fought against through the final minutes of the day.
Finally, townies Gazglum, Lewwyn, and Novice had all given me a pro-town read.
I do understand that my role claim timing ended up lousy. I did consider claiming earlier once it became clear my role wouldn't actually delay a scum victory, but ultimately decided I'd rather give scum less information to operate on going in to the final night.

Jabbz, if you're scum GG, but at this point I won't vote for you. I think your posts today have been very good. For the record, I think some of your responses to my arguments early in the game were dubious, though some of that may be style. And, I still contend your "I'm not 100% convinced about the Brick thing" linen to Lewwyn was weird. I can't see you killing me though, at least not as much as Adrien. So again GG since I'll likely vote dtay to be synched up with your vote.

dtay just in case there are any deadline shenanigans. If I end up sticking on a town dtay I'm sorry, I do like your play this day better.

Sunrise you misunderstand my case against you. Dtay said that neither you or Jabbz could be the culprit due to yesterday's actions. I just thought yesterday didn't clear you completely and that dtay should have seen it. And your D1 record was good, which also makes me pretty sure you're town.

Hmm.
Ya know, I actually buy that, I hadn't thought through the town cred angle, which combined with that town brick should also lead to scum means i was wrong to say finding you as scum makes brick more scummy.
So while wrong, don't see how my earlier logic was scummy in any case. You represent it as me starting to go after you there, except it was an arg about why you being scum meant brick was scum, not vice versa. If anything it would lead me to lynch brick.
For clarity, I DO still think that if brick flips (rather, when brick flipped) scum it makes/made you likely scum, because otherwise scum-Bricks actions don't make sense. But that wasn't the arg you were pointing out a flaw in.
Sunrise, are you actually voting for me (and if so why) or just doing it for solidarity purposes?

It was scummy because you were looking for every possible way to convince people to lynch me. This was meant as an attack on BRick once we had lynched me. And I wouldn't think you'd do bad logic, not after your very good posts last game. Only not caring about it being good logic and trying too hard to come up with arguments in favor of a BRick/me pair could make you do that IMO (advocating a Me->BRick lynch order, which you knew wouldn't happen but was laying the foundations for the same argument against me the next day).
