He could have felt that risk and decided to take down novice for sure and me possibly down with him

Ok. That's what I thought you were going for. I figured he hoped to get the town to feel some guilt by association on the Novice lynch, would would increase his cred for your lynch.

Well, I have no more arguments to make. At least I get to crow and say I told you so in a few minutes.

I'm not sure at that point it's a victory for you. It just means you weren't persuasive enough to convince either of the two townies you were not scum.

In the end, it comes to this. Four of you locked in a room, talking, arguing. One of you claims to be dying, but is remarkably sanguine about the whole thing. You all have some good arguments and you all have some bad ones, but it is clearly a choice between Dtay and Adrien in the end. Who is of the town? Who is an unspeakable horror?

Dtay argues brightly, logically, with tamped passion and cool reason. And as he does, you feel the rage build within you. How dare he pretend to be one of you? You're not quite sure when you made the decision that he had to die, but you're a townie. You don't think things through logically, you don't carefully examine lines and line of argumentation. You pick your murder victim with your all-too-human gut, and then you go with it. That's what being town means.

Dtay never seems to get it. He just keeps arguing, talking, as if he could persuade someone to change his mind.

Clearly, that's no townie there. So you string him up. While he's dying, you get in a few last spiteful digs, because that's what humans do.

His death is swift, without a rasp or a struggle, just a sigh that lasts for minutes, and a withered and inhuman husk left behind.

You all nod with satisfaction. The world has been saved for now, and even the dead of Kingsport are better off, for they shall remain in their rest unsullied by the taint of the horrors' dark master.

At least until tomorrow...

Dtay was lynched. He was a horror.

Alignment PM:
Horror- You are a monstrous horror, absolutely dedicated along with
your fellows to awakening the Great One Who Lurks Beyond The
Threshold. To the blind and grasping citizens of this town, you appear
human and whole in the light of day. In the dark of night, your
howling coven can slay one of the citizens as a gift to Who Lurks
Beyond. You win when you kill all the citizens or you and your fellow
horrors equal them in number. And by win, we mean you can at last
leave this weak and cringing human mask behind and blossom into your
true hideous form as you exult in orgiastic terror seeing Who Lurks
Beyond burst through into this world and consumes it in glorious
annihilation.

You make speak with your fellow horrors day and night in the following QT:

Role PM:
Sleeper in the Bed (vanilla)- You sleep in bed at night. It’s comfy.

TOWN WINS!
