I think Gavagi is spooking him - we have vision on all his cities and there are a lot of English ships spying the empty cities now... And our scout in Donovan lands shows huge redcoat forces up north.

But keeping his troops in MCG isn't going to help much. He should kill us quick while Gavagai hasn't finished Donovan yet, and then use his rifles to garrison the coastal cities. A beeline to infantry wouldn't be stupid either, do you think he's going for communism ?

True. I dunno what the long term play plan is from him. He was sci method this turn so that and then biology? But getting past the redcoat UU might be a good idea, especially as rifles and infantry on this are a 2 pop draft I believe. But state property would help his empire shape, and is big for hammers too.

Just logged him, this is amazing. He attacked the longbow in RB with his knight at 88% chances and lost. He'll probably take the city next turn, he has 2 knights in range and the longbow is at 1.9/6. But what's hilarious is that he doesn't have enough units to take EA next turn. The cap could hold ! He only has 26 hitters against 32 units in the city. But he has some galleons so maybe he has just enough. I'd be so happy to keep it one more turn. Also Donovan is down to 2 cities and Furungy to one. I think we'll score 8th out of 11 which is bad, but not too bad considering our starting position.

Has he only 2 Knights in range? If we have enough units can we save it running some out from the cap? Like move the scout out and something else? tongue

I don't think it's worth trying, as I said he has galleons around so maybe he does have just enough units to take the cap.
