BTW, are we going to manage to get Barbstralia Wheat and the Marble city founded during this peaceful interlude? The Wheat we probably need to, since I wouldn't put it past Adrien to grab for it now.

Smurf will complete settler in 5t (we can whip) plus 2.5 starts on another one this turn.

I'm thinking of waiting till we get CoL to fire GA so we can take advantage of the double glp generation.

Adrien's spike in power and lurker activity has culminated in the taking of a city from johns. (Or is it retaking? Haven't been keeping track). John's GG died but he and Adrien both birthed one during the conflict goodjob This should hopefully lead to a nice grudge which will keep Adrien occupied on that front while we plan something with our UUs. mischief

Elum is using his gold stockpile to reach CS and not upgrade knights so I feel it's okay to start getting infrastructure up. CoL in 2T.

Misc: Johns completed The Master Blacksmith quest.

CH declares on johns. So only Elum and us aren't at war. lol He also offers to trade his spare clams for our spare wheat, which I accept (we were having unhealthy at TP and KJ.)

Interturn: Whosit birthed a GS, CoL comes in for us. Going to fire GA and swap to Caste and OR after Elum plays.

I'm planning to settle 3N of Hsung Nu next (where it can work both clams and borrow wheat) followed by marble. What do we want after CS? IW-> Machinery for UU or do we want to pick up Theology for AP first? Christianity isn't founded yet so we can have a lock on the AP but we need to decide before hand so I can ship back workers from Barbstralia for the great Chop.

Crabs, right? We have lots of Clam iirc.

AP would be great, but only if we're feeling secure defensively. That would go into 2.5", right? Is there a Forge in there yet?

Yeah, crabs. No Forge yet, so I plan to build it during the GA.

Edit- just noticed from civstats that johns took a city from Adrien. crazyeye

Not sure where Adrien fits into the turnsplit though; if he's in the middle, we couldn't add another shard anyway.

How many more turns are we tied to Peace?

It's Adrien-> Johns-> CH, thuogh really we would prefer to be second half.

We can't do a galley-Berserker assault for at least 10 turns, but we can try hitting two cities on Barbstralia with Mobility HAs. If we take second half we can hit the one S of Hsung Nu out of the fog and the one E of it before he has time to build any defenders.

But unless Elum is focused on Grimace, he then dismembers us from the other side with Knights, right?

Yeah, so we'll build a couple of HAs and wait and see (we can hit Ecbatana with the same trick).
