Had a quick look into the save before going to work. Good news all around:
- we're getting HG
- THH's stacks are not moving in against us, at least not yet. I guess it's safe to try and get the 10th XP point with the axe at the barb city. Also Al has lifted his border garrisons. Peace in our time?
- TGL will be 8 turns of slowbuilding, and we also can chop 1+4/5 forests into it.
Considerations / questions
- I want to build HE in GD. That means it'll never have West Point, but if we make it to the point where we can worry about that I'm happy enough. Objections?
- NE at Pfeffi after the wonders
- 7 turns to the GA including the current one, where we still research literature. We have to research Priesthood, CoL, and Monotheism before it starts. It'd be awesome to also get HBR/Archery, but I guess it isn't happening?
- I'm a bit worried that THH's next beeline is Guilds, but I hope Mardoc is tastier for him? Is there a point to be made for Engineering instead of Guilds, if we don't want to play aggressive? Do you value construction higher than Numids?
- We got graphs on everybody, going to change EP back to THH who has been building courthouses. Al has not, hellorg?

Also, catching up on old discussions...:

Verdigris.
District Line. (London Tube)
Turtle.
Could also use the potentially confusing "Forest" and "Jungle". I propose verdigris will be our yet-to-be-founded (GA!) island copper city. And jungle will continue nicely the subtheme "iceball cities with tropical names".

I had the idea to rename the civ, which is sadly still just Carthage, to Green Party, Greenpeace or whatever but didn't really like it / thought it a bit too obvious. Is there a good slightly abusive English word for ecologists that would fit?

That's all pretty good. I'd also validate a city named dinausaur because why not. About the civ how about gang green ? I think it's the nickname for one of NY's american football teams.

The bad news of the turn:
The monument in Perrier just finished. Will the tile flip back to us immediately next turn?
No time for a real report, so I just dump all the pictures here (all from after eot HG boost to make them look shinier). Just one note: HBR next turn could work, we take it?
All the statistics:
Golden THH is in a very strong position, but I don't feel too bad for us.
All the cities:
As you see, we are working quite some unimproved tiles ![shhh shhh](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/shhh.gif) . Some of this can be fixed shuffling them around better, but to a part it's authentic worker shortage. Problem is, I feel really paranoic about our neighbours, so not in the mood of building workers. One is coming from Peas, but we can use at least a part of the HG pop to whip some more workers out.
Also, an idea: How about offering people to sell them stones? I assume we aren't building walls, right? Mardoc would be the preferred trade partner, he also needs a boost to compete with THH. I'm not missing an important stone wonder am I?

Probably not until Perrier pops second ring and starts dumping amped culture on the tile. Right now it's probably your Monument against his and since he's ahead he'll stay ahead.

damn, you're right ![frown frown](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif) . There's a worker and 3 units on that tiule, let's hope at least Al doesn't feel provocated. We still want that library asap.

That was just what I was talking about ![nod nod](https://www.realmsbeyond.net/forums/images/smilies/nod.gif) ! Everybody fine with it for our civ name? Of course I forgot to assign it yesterday.

As it seems we are not lucky (no, I haven't been waiting for the save all night, my train is leaving at 6:02 am), so I will just write down some thoughts, to have some continuity, but follow your own judgement of course
- Pfeffi starts TGL. Full hammers here of course. It is very important to switch off the scientists and take care not to hire any more during the turns after, or else the GP will be born there, with unknown result. Two chops should be doable with the one worker that's already on the western forest (the southern one is pre-chopped). If I'm wrong opn that, use the other one.
- GD should build a stable and HE asap. I've put a worker on the one remaining forest for that purpose
- I still think Perrier should whip that library when possible
- library for Emerald would be good, if we can afford it military wise
- we're still getting online new happy resources, so cities can keep growing
- The 9XP Axe should imo move to the barb city next turn (barring an inmediate THH attack), grab the 10th XP, point, then inmediately return to Kiwi for defense
- There is an axe I was sending from Hulk to Kiwi. It should be around TOS
- We'll want at least 2 settlers during the GA. One (for Y) could come from Peas after its worker, or GD, but I'd like that city more to produce military. The other (NE fish spot) from TOS after finishing the current spear? Am I missing a plant that needs a caste artist?
research wise I think HBR next turn with the overflow, then 1-turn archery, priesthood and monotheism on/below break-even, finally CoL with one turn of gold saving probably. Note that we need enough research turns to finish all those techs before GA, that's why I think working breakeven is good. You might want to check if all that is feasible though, and dismiss HBR/archery if necessary
- No more monuments. We'll have artists soon enough.
Keep a close eye on Al and THH's movements (I think I left signs where I last saw THH's stacks). Maybe get a scout (chariot?) into Al's border region.
