Seriously: dtay, Lewwyn - you guys were both on Mattimeo yesterday. What don't you like about his case now?
Wait does this mean you like the case against Mattimeo?
I did yesterday early in the day. And I was on-the-fence about voting him at the end of the day, but between only getting to glance at my phone once every 15 minutes and not knowing what the hell to make of the Goreripper reveal + implications and feeling good about my Gazglum post I didn't have the time. I didn't like how Matt was posting some nothing posts when we know how much of a lurker crusader Mattimeo is: I won't post unless I have something to say, or something like that is what I've heard him say before in games. But there was a post earlier where he kind of said nothing:

Is an indication you didn't like he train. eh, without the subsequent switch off it comes across as more noting the trend than disagreeing with it. The vote does twist the context somewhat, though.
He is correct about not actually stating a dislike of the wagon. Still, the confrontational way in which he does so seems a bit... off.
And right before that he had attacked zak on a pretty bad misread of what zak said. He attributed zak as being disingenuous and claiming he had taken a stance that zak hadn't actually taken. Like he was looking for things to jump on in order to make a case. Just in general, his tone is different this game.
When he got heat and defended from you and Rowain I thought he started to sound a bit more town, but at this point I was skimming at work during a busy day. His tone started to sound more normal for Mattimeo. His reveal I don't think should be factored in; I know we've had scum with power like that in previous games.
What was your take on him now? You and Rowain were pushing him for having the same cockiness he portrayed as scum before, but then you went out on the town.
You know, Mattimeo, you never did address me day 1. You answered Rowain and Lewwyn but i don't see you responding to what I didn't like about your posting.
Okay, I gotta post my pbem update and get to bed.

Currently I think there are more suspicious people than Mattimeo. His role could easily be either town or scum, and god knows I've been fooled by Mattimeo's claims in the past. Depending on what Matt does today, I'd make another judgement. The post you quoted is also one of the reasons I voted for him in the first place. After Rowain voted for him I went back and looked at that and decided it was worth a vote. Today, however, I'd say there were currently cases (I have 3 suspects) that I think have more information and I feel are more likely scum.
Are you going to vote for Matt, Pindi?

Well, nothing like a nice friendly game of RBWW to come back to after writing a 10 page rhetorical criticism on rape and consent material. Compared to that shit, you guys are a bright freaking ray of sunshine.

Why would this have been enough for you to get off the Matt train?

Because it sounds believable to me. And after the lynch when I caught up, I read both Matt's claim and Pindi's accusation. Given that I would have voted for Gaz. I mean when I caught up I was reading through about 150 posts chronologically without knowing the outcome of the day, and so I was reacting to it as I read each post. And as I read I knew that at that point I would have switched to Gazglum. I was surprised commagore was lynched and no one wanted to switch over to Gazglum.

Ok, you said that part. The problem I have is that you were on him because he was acting cocky.

That makes a lot more sense than I thought your response would.
And yet you don't make any comments about that. Instead you claim you no longer felt him to be guilty because his claim was believable. To me, there seems to be a bit of a disconnect there.

I hate to let you off the hook, but I need sleep. I'll let that idea percolate for a while, I'm sure you will have plenty of time to try to come up with a justifiable excuse for why that was an ok behavior. I'm more after Gaz atm anyway, we can always revisit this tomorrow. Gnight.

I didn't state that I was on Matt simply because he was being cocky. In fact, I didn't really even say exactly why I was on him. I was on him in part because I trusted Rowain, Matt was being cocky, and agree with what Rowain said. But I was also on Matt for his earlier vote and I agreed that he was hedging when discussing the argument between me and you.
SO keep on harping about things I said, but DIDN"T say.

And holy shit I'm not claiming him to be innocent. Nowhere have I said I think he is innocent. I think his claim is believable, IE: I want to reevaluate and see what he does today. Just because I don't want to lynch him right now doesn't mean I won't want to lynch him later. Really feeling like I want to lynch you and your lack or reading comprehension right now.
