WW37- For Whom the Bell Trolls

Interesting also that nobody else did comment upon it.

Do you want us to answer it for him?

What are your thoughts now that we had another deathless night, and another cult warning? Do you want to lynch anyone?
If you know what I mean.

Another night without a flip is making me uncomfortable.

I strongly don't think that 24 hr days is a positive thing.

Rereading, this stood out. The second post is the next RL day for Agnes. Agnes, why wasn't the early Gazglum wagon disconcerting after all?

Because the wagon dissipated. Perhaps I should have expected that, but I hadn't. And upon reflecting on it, I realised that that actually fit well with a scum Glum and tactics his mates might employ, as I elaborated in the post you quoted. I still need to reread the early part of Day 2, though.

So far the mentioning of the cult concerns people that are immune to it.

Of course if there is someone who has been converted they are free to step forward.

I have no problem to troll Bob back and not lynch anyone.

I meant to post this last night, but the wife had other plans.

I don't think we should start basing our decisions on the GM being a bastard, and I don't think we should scumhunt by quoting our role PMs.

Rowain's decision to pursue a no lynch seems very wrong to me, but he gives off a genuine vibe of being pissed off at a setup screwing town yet again. It's just that there's no objective basis for his conviction of that being the case.

I think Agnes is a fascist. It's a quite straightforward case but that doesn't make it bad - Agnes came back when Fenn was on the block and tried to breathe life to the Gazglum case based on very tenuous arguments. Rereading Fenn and Agnes they fit as scum buddies. Agnes did put the final vote on Fenn to avoid a no lynch, but Agnes had already argued vehemently against a no lynch, so if she let Fenn get away with tying the vote that would reflect badly upon her. Even worse if someone else ninja voted Fenn to avoid the no lynch, so that Fenn flipped scum.

So yeah, I'm voting Agnes. If Rowain feels that lynching another fascist upsets the balance of power too badly, we can lynch him instead.
I have to run.

If that is something you all want to vote on, do it in green.

This sounds to me like the GM expects the low number of kills to continue, in which case no lynching sounds like an even worse idea.

You really don't think I could've avoided this? Could've pretended to miss the draw, could've held back or argued about whether or not it was the case? You said something earlier about how I was unusually willing to claim and so on - do you really think I'd be unwilling to let it no lynch?

And even more than that - there were no other active players on Gazglum, iirc. Nor any off Fenn, tbh. If I let it sit, it was quite probable one of you would've joined me for the sake of the lynch before all else. If not you then Rowain (as happened). So I could've just sat, and waited - especially given my fascist partner (Fenn) was online, so we could presumably communicate. And if I was campaigning to save him, putting my neck on the line to do so, why should I not go this final hurdle?

This also flies in the face of how to approach this situation, as a fascist. To campaign for a dead wagon, that's languished with nothing but some dead votes for a day and a half is just foolish, especially with the weight of pressure on him at that point. Why shouldn't I just join the wagon relatively easily? Or start another one, perhaps revitalize the Mattimeo push. Or a Dtay/Shadeun lurker kill - hell, Rowain was pushing them both, and it would give it activity. It also follows nicelyfrom my established distrust of the established votes, which i could use to leave the Gaz train. With Fenn, that's already 3 votes, and with all the discontent it's certainly got a good chance of succeeding.

And why not bus? I've never shown myself to be afraid of that in the past.

I think your argument fails on many levels and, honestly, I don't think your heart is even in it.

To expand on this, I feel like you didn't want to argue this. That you expected that someone else would have to have by this point, and that its one of the easy arguments you can make from yesterday, but you don't actually believe it. I get a very "going-through-the-motions" feel from your posts.

My idea would be to call this game a draw.

But the only way i can see that happening would be that everyone PMs Bob with either his desire to go on or draw. draw should only happen if all are in agreement.

Of course we can continue to dance for the lurkers fun but given the amount of discussion/posting we have I'm not sure there are many players that have fun.

I had the same thought as Novice re: green votes.

If someone is immune to recruitment then I think that strongly implies that recruitment is possible.

Agnes and Rowain are the most logical fascist suspects. Followed by dtay and Jabbz, with dead votes on Gazglum. Shadeun, Pindicator and Mattimeo didn't cast votes that counted. But Shadeun had a conspicuous absence, and Pindicator made an attack on Mattimeo that was strangely over-the-top.

Gazglum could be a fascist, too, but I'd need to reread more carefully to see how the timing works out.

Mattimeo, who did you target?

I will be quite busy this weekend, unfortunately. I'll try to find some time here and there.

Agnes, despite a decent "I wouldn't play it like that" defense.

So given that, you still think I'd play like that? Why?
