Still, unless we get more people coming together on that idea...
Well, the poem does suggest that. And maybe Bob wants us to all wait to be converted or something, then we all 'win' together? It's a nice philosophy. But we did sign up to play a game, with rules and agreed objectives. If Bob wants to copy that movie Wargames and preach to us that 'the only way to win is not to play', then I would say, 'why did you ask us to play in the first place?'
I'm operating on the assumption that this game is weird, but traditionally winnable, and if its not then it's lame. But it was playtested by several smart cookies, so I don't think its going to be lame.

Well, Novice has said he has a town lean on me the whole game. I'm the one who has been barking up his tree. And I think his Day 1 showed a scummy Novice, but he's been less scummy since then and was on the right side of the Day 2 lynch, and so he isn't my top suspect anymore.

I am in from a long day. My student is into the finals tomorrow so hurrah. I'm nervous too. I'm going to bed then getting up for another long day. Sorry.
On the plus side:
Rowain, I believe you are scum.
I don't know whether I want to shorten the days. I feel like it might be a trap. In Bob's game, game plays you!

Pindicator was also last-minute cramming for and taking his finals. A's in both classes, bitches.

The more I'm learning about the setup the less it makes me want to play. We've gone two full days and nights and town has yet to have someone die -- when does that happen?
We know there's a fascist team and the role color implies other scum teams.
Shadeun had a very astute observation earlier, that this is a very angry town. It is angry -- and it doesn't seem to be reflective or indecisive. On top of that I'm having a hard time finding people I ultimately trust as townie. Everyone is coming off as "trying to be townie" to me.
Add on top of it the strange night events -- no kills over two nights and the warnings of a cult. By the way, why are we all giving these messages so much credit? We don't know the source or the motive for their posting. I assume it's a player ability and not just flavor write up by the GM . The only reason we're going on about a cult is because of these messages.
To me it all appears like the only advantage town has in normal games -- there being more town than scum -- may not be true at all here. And so what? This turns into a beauty pagent where the person who struts their stuff better than the others gets to win? Where scum hunting seems entirely besides the point because most of you are scum? I have no desire to play that game. Sorry to the other townies out there -- if there are any ...
No Lynch

I think it's a bastard win condition. I think we're being trolled. It says so in the title. I say we give it a shot for one day. If I'm right we all win. If I'm wrong then I would argue for Rowain's draw idea, but I suspect there are actually too many people that would like a multiple-faction majority scum game. I'm not a politician; I think it's all stupid I'd that's the case.

Look at that, scum Novice is already flipping on Rowain in the middle of the day, and scum Gazglum has no reservations that his old favorite scum target is now agreeing with him now. Nobody had had any reservations this game outside of what to do about Goreripper because he was the only real unknown.
See what I mean?
Come on, one day. Give peace a chance. I need to dig through Commodore's posts. Going to go further down the rabbit hole if I find what I expect to

You know what multiple scum means Gaz, you're a smart guy. Just cause novice voted to kill one scum doesn't exclude him from being scum himself. If I cared about this game I'd be voting for you right now based off your day 1 scummy play added with this.

Your post is heartfelt Pindicator, and maybe you are right.
I am village. I am the postmaster, who acts as a night-time redirector. I know there are multiple scum factions, and at the least, Zak, Rowain, Novice, Agnes and Jabbz have shown themselves to be likely scum so far, and probably others as well.
So I also don't know how to proceed, because we can only target one person at a time. Yesterday I was chosing between Novice and Fenn, ideally I would have hung both of them but I couldn't. Now I am choosing Rowain because I think he is 100% certain scum, to Novice's 'very likely scum'.
I don't really know what to do. If people think the win condition is no lynch, then I am willing to cap this day at 24 hours and try that. If we're still here tomorrow then I guess we are supposed to play out a bastard game and I would probably go back to voting Rowain.
Well done on your finals, Pindi.
