These letters, written by the capitalists & fascists to oppress the proletariat. Violence does us no good!
Look not to the malicious postmen among us. This is the figurehead, the capitalistic icon that we must fight to overthrow.
We mean you no harm - as was demonstrated by the lack of killings on our behalf. Further, look to the slain vampire lord that our members orchestrated.
Join us, brothers. Join us and bring peace to the village and equality for all! Communist claim?
Really not sure why this doesn't have both town and fascist jumping all over it.

Known:
1 unaligned, 1 vampire (cult?), 1 fascist
Claimed:
4 fascist (by a claimed fascist, so likely trustworthy)
4 communist (by the claim of the dawn message, and Shadeun agreeing)
Thus:
4 fascist
4 communist
1 vampire lord
1 war correspondent
3 town
I really can't credit any setup other than this.
So, given we're currently:
3 fascist, 4 communist, 3 town; with possibly 2 cultists in there somewhere
Town and fascist really need to join together and lynch a communist, putting all three groups on a roughly equal footing.
Unbalanced, of course, by that fact that you guys really should have night kills, though you do appear to be singularly (doubly?) ineffective at using those...
When it gets down to 3-3-3 we can actually bring politics up for the first kill there if you like, but today really has to be straight out kill a communist. And we have one claimed. Why the hell are more than 4 people (ie. all the communists) voting for anything else?

My idea would be 1 vote together with the communist for Gazglum. The rest votes for one communist (maybe Shadeun. those we reach a 5:5 stand-off . Noone dies and we can continue this until kingdom come.
Or we shorten this and call it a draw.
Btw No to 24 hours.
@Gazglum perhaps you should spill all the beans.

Why not just vote no lynch, then?

Yeah, Bob could have just screwed up the game.
Okay, so you think there's a cult. Vampire Lord does lead to that, yes. Do you think they would still be able to recruit without the vampire lord around? That is awfully hard to balance - otherwise we're just playing whack-a-mole with the cultists.
What makes you think there's something worse? Gazglum has been pretty insistent that there's a cult this game -- well, the night messages have at least; I'd like to hear his reasoning for why.
I thought I read somewhere that the presense of a cult should be announced ahead of time, but I can't find that now.
If the real goal of this game is not to "kill the town", but instead to kill the cultists before they take us over -- so the scum factions of fascists and communists are just ... what, just names for different townies and they get to be masons? There clearly isn't any night killing going on, so I'm not quite sure what the point of having them around is except to obfuscate.
Bastard game is just so much simpler.

How would 2 cults even work?

Because No lynch is too open for shenaningans.
But if one communist has 5 votes and Gaz has 5 votes (4 from commies) I know that either Gaz is dead (bad for Fascists and others) or 1 commie (bad for Commies).
Since I don't want to play Diplomacy here (and a 3/3/3 would end as such) I prefer my way.

Ok guys, I agree that this is a frustrating game. Full of neat ideas, but frustrating. And I presume it must be more frustrating if you've failed to nightkill 3 (6?) times. I don't believe that Bob would design a game where people can't die at night, that wouldn't have got past playtesting.
So Rowain, I don't quite get your team's decision here. Yes, a 3/3/3 might suck, but at the moment you are facing a full strength communist team. Whatever your team has been doing at night must have worked, since you didn't lose any more members. So congrats on that. If we lynch a communist today then you are back in the game again, with a chance to change the odds in your favour tonight.
Whatever else you may think of the village postal service, it does not follow the way of Marx. Killing me makes the game 4/3/2, and that's probably it. At best for you it goes to 3/2/1 overnight, and we still have to team against communists tomorrow.
The Communists disdain to conceal their views and aims. They openly declare that their ends can be attained only by the forcible overthrow of all existing social conditions. They intend to win. If we want to keep playing, we need to work together. If the fascist team wants to resign, then I guess they should be open about it. Franco will be displeased, but that's your problem not mine.
But lynching your Postmaster drags this out another day without changing any of the dynamics.
Shadeun, since other people are voting there, but I would probably prefer Zak or Lewwyn if we're tolling their bells.

Oh sorry Rowain, I missed your last post.
So you want to tie the lynch? I don't quite get why, but I guess that makes more sense than killing me.
