Yeah... kind of like the Traffic Cop. (Rest assured, that role will make a genuine appearance sooner or later.)
Maybe WW38 can be "Fake Claims Mafia"? Do we have enough material for that yet?
If you know what I mean.

My immediate take on what would be cool would be a Discworld themed game
(Then Gazglum could play the Postman for real)

Yes, that's a timely theme, and should be fun even if I'm not very well versed in the lore.
For the next role madness game, I would prefer a focus on an entertaining theme, coupled with interesting and fun abilities, but within the confines of a relatively standard game structure. Like the HHGTTG game, or the Civilization games, or really almost any of the games that Uberfish modded.

with the ability: "Survives the first hanging" it would be a neat role indeed.
@zak:
the problem with the short days in general are the people in weird TZ/little playtime. dtay, jabbz, agnes, pindi are all people with no/little posts since daybreak.

We can play it out, to see how the chips end up falling, but the days of pretending to be town are over, and the days of trying to figure things out are nearing an end, too. So the rest is just a game of diplomacy, like Rowain says.
I agree.
My read is that if the fascist team want to lynch an anarchist at the end of today, the game is over and might as well be called. There's no real chance communists lose when they can veto the lynches and keep killing at night, and they have a strongman while Fascists don't, so I don't think the fascists can even get into an infinite loop of stalled lynches and blocked nightkills.
Rowain, I think you are frustrated at the game (fair) and are kind of taking it out on us. We've done nothing underhand or hurtful towards you, except lynch Fenn and we didn't know he was on your team. We have no animosity towards you, I thought it was cool that you full claimed yesterday, and we're just trying to make the best move for our team.
So I say yes to 24 hour days, now and forever, because there is not really anything more to discuss. Our position is plain and self-interested - we want to ally with the fascists, and second preference we will side with the communists and play for 2nd place.
When the other two fascists wake up, they should discuss it in their QT and let us know the team's decision.
Shadeun, that 5-minute early deadline is an absolutely brilliant fakeclaim.

Uberfish's games were classic, yeah. I also liked the Futurama game.

a) there is the risk that you control more votes than you say you do.
b) But even if we side with you we lose. lets just assume it goes your way we have 3-2-3 we would never be able to get you and the commies to vote for each other so long that we get a chance to win. the best would be a 1-1-1 and then agreement to draw. But why not proclaim a truce and draw right now?
c) As said you are a math-guy you have seen it before your vote for me and that leads right back to you having more votes than you claim you have (as then lynching anyone of commies/Fascist might hand you victory).
d) I'm not sure the no-NK are going to continue.

So I'm back. I understand everyone's factions and motivations at this point. I see two options.
1) We call the game a draw.
I don't have a ton of motivation to play out the game. I think our team has a slight advantage at the moment, but Team Anarchy can only die by lynching so its in the best interest of Fascists and commie working together to lynch them first. I would love to just lynch Gaz though.
2) We play out a game of diplomacy.
I didn't sign up for diplomacy. I don't want to play it much. But if we decide to keep playing I will. This will likely be a game of who wants to lynch who more and a little bit of luck with nightkills.
My preference is a draw and we get another game started. The most interesting bits of figuring things out and battling against the unknown have been stripped from this game.
So I vote: draw
Rowain anything you wanted to ask me?

x-post with Rowain
Matt if you want to play it out I suggest Rowain we lynch all the anarchists and then call it a draw between our factions.
