I think this may be the original source of the contradiction argument. And the second part of this argument was also weak, which I noted at the time. In AdrienIer's favor, scum typically recycle arguments from townies, not from scumbuddies.
That's a good point.

Well at least he picked his preference. If he's town he would be inclined to vote to keep Gaz alive because friendship. If scum would he make his vote so obvious? And not 25 minutes earlier? He also miscalculated, I'd think scum would keep a close watch on the tally - I'd think one of them would realize, at 16:55, that Lewwyn's vote put the score was 6-4 and no point in voting.
Mistakes like that have happened. scum seldom have a tally in their threads. And if you are timepressed as Shadeun is (according to him) you can miss that Lewwyns jump makes the case hopeless. Besides the fact that "I have to save friend" is very bad villageplay Shadeun didn't strike me as sentimental during the last game.

Now Shadeun is away for the greater part of tomorrow so attacking/pushing him is rather useless.
Who else is scummy/needs a bit of kicking in my eyes:
novice: His vote for Fenn right when the Gazglum train began to move smells very much like "I want to get another train going before gazglum swings".
Bobchillingworth: Beeing online declaring Molach as villager ( that post) and the votes for him as bad but still doing nothing especially not mentioning Gazglum at all does look scummy to me.

I do not trust Ichabod. His push for Shadeun is bad, and I suspect he had an agenda to push second town as the candidate besides Molach.

I might be on board with lynching Novice as things stand currently. Hopefully he will kick into gear at some point and convince us that someone else makes a better lynch.
Certainly looking forward to hearing what Krill has to say, now that the first "random" lynch has been resolved.
I liked this post by Bob:

He claims to be a neighbor- a painless and simple task for any scum- and gains village credit while confirming or disproving for the existence of other pairs. For the disproving of a thing can be as valuable as the awareness of it. And do not think that I have concluded that he is *not* a neighbor, Piter, for he surely is. But why would a scum neighbor not hasten to claim first? There would be no advantage in such a decision. No profit. No, better to reveal before his partner, to claim the greater share of the reward. There is no risk. Most cunning. I sense the hand of a Mentat in it.
This is ok, too:

Still, early for a gambit. There is more to this- a hidden hand.
Declaring that Molach was innocent without leaving himself any options for saving Gazglum seems like clumsy scum play. Better to all-out bus him in that case. If he knew people's alignments he could have easily come out of that lynch looking a lot better.
@Meiz. I see where you are coming from. Scumabod is really good at sniffing out weak points and using his charisma to build mislynch wagons. He might be at it again.

Ichabod was the 4th vote on Gazglum really giving that steam.

Given your argument scum should be able to always smell like roses after a lynch. I wonder how we caught all 4 in 36 then.

Questions for the vets here, Gazglum's role is "hiding neighbouriser", what do you think the "hiding" part means ?

I know. Still don't trust him. The trend against Gaz was rising quickly, so he'd need to be on that wagon early to get credibility. I mainly suspect him due to his case agains Shadeun being really weak, therefore not deserving the heavy campaigning he did. It really seems he had some hidden agenda going there, and I suspect it wasn't to save Molach who was quiet most of the day.
@Adrien, probably some scum variation of http://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Hider

Hiding normally means he can hide behind a person during the night and become immune to actions that way. Sometimes actions taken against the hider effects the one behind he hides or gives the results that way sometimes actions taken against the person behind you hide effect both .
Usually a villager-power with the sideeffect if he hides behind scum he dies instantly.

That's taking it a bit too far. Usually there's a trade-off between looking good and securing a mislynch. If Bob wanted to look good, he could have bused Gazglum. And if he wanted to save Gazglum, then defending Molach while staying on Lewwyn wasn't very effective. He chose the worst of both worlds, from a scum perspective. He had already been critical of Molach's claim earlier in the day, and he hadn't posted anything after Molach revealed it to be a joke, so he didn't need to paint himself into that corner.
If you know what I mean.
