Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

[spoilers] Commodore and Dtay are Sitting Bull of Inca, somehow.

Okay, Dtay, check me on this, but I think with the setting fire to a bunch of worker turns, we're set up for a least-time terrace in Triplet:
Quote:-Settler due in 5t (chop helping), so EoT40. Moves t41, settles t42
-North worker finishes chop (EoT37), moves 1SE to road (EoT40) and chop...
-South workers road (EoT37), go 2NW to cottage a turn (EoT38)
-1 moves to forest 1E of rice (EoT39) and starts chopping done t42
-1 roads rice (done EoT40), moves to help the northern worker chop finish t42
So we waste no worker turns (except for in the far future going back to mine the plains hill), get a terrace pumping culture to the gold ASAP, and feel both warm and fuzzy. You like?

Bears, lions, panthers, wolves, warriors all might show to totally screw up the plan.

By the way? Retep still hasn't settled, but no power spikes for silly axe rush either. It's like he's being choked over there, looks like he's losing warriors...

Ah, dear sweet scout "Scout", you have been both brave and bold. Your latest and greatest accomplishment, unfogging a trade route to the Indies, will no doubt have far-reaching ramifications for years.

Assuming Sailing. And Alphabet. And it wouldn't have been done by Writing map trades?

But now, dear sweet Scout, I hear a bell toll. For whom does this bell toll? IT TOLLS FOR THEE.

RIP, buddy. You had a great run.

I...forget too. But I think it's Monarch, so no. And also, already smoked a lion with a quecha anyway.

But! Our brave Scout's sacrifice ensures luck in Triplet, right? Road done, next turn zoom goes the settler and the turn after we're planted. Retep finally built his second city...boy that was almost sad, Pro/Phi getting too three cities before Exp/Imp got two down.

:alright:

ah! Well done Retep! Last to a second city, but then first to a third! Nicely nicely done! We don't see signs of his culture yet, but we will soon I'm sure. Glad Triplet-getting-uberfast-terrace was on the docket. Still, plus points to Retep.

Minus fifty DKP for the bad naming scheme, though. Pedro, Peter, and Petew, really?

Welcome to the world, little Triplet. You’re not much right now, but soon you will be quite nice. Enjoy the terrace.

Bit food light to work all the specials, but that’s what grass farms are for.

It is now turn 43; time to stop, take stock, and adjust the sails. We're at par for the tournament, third or fourth to three cities. Hopefully the advantage of already having three granaries (just whipped Cascade Point's) will tell for something before long. I'm fine with this level of development for turn 43; we've got no early advantages like the Exps and Imps all over the place. Now, with cheap terraces out, our time is neigh.

Nyah nyah, Mr. Bear, I'm sticking inside culture.

Expansion plans right now are “expand”. Which...probably needs a little more work. I want Blackcollar and Heir ASAP, but practically right now that probably means another two workers before two more settlers, because there is a lot to do at home and plenty of happy cap to grow, too. Because of that, after taking above shot I swapped to a worker in Triplet for the overflow; we can grow then whip it, as Trip gets no good second tiles until borders pop in nine turns.

Demos, we're pretty average. Some people are running around with Real Units, but not our immediate neighbors, so no problem here.

Best life expectancy though!

So, right, actual concrete plans. Speaking generally, the northern worker goes up to farm the wheat, the silver worker chops the forest 1W then hooks ivory, and the eastern worker goes to road the forst 1S of Triplet. Workers out of Triplet and Cascade Point, settler (whipped) out of Cobra for Blackcollar. Then we grow Cascade Point to whip Empire's settler and Triplet gets hit again for another worker. REX REX REX gentlemen, and use Inca's other unique power, quechas buildable until maces, to provide cheap MP.

Now watch for horses to ruin the plan.

Third ring borders popped! We sure have ourselves a lot of island out there. Just a note, we could keep expanding until Guilds if needed.

Need like a dozen cities!

It is the era of border pops, for me at least. Looking south, we finally catch sight of HAK; he's not had time to pop his own borders yet unless he went nuts on a monument. So...I expect he'll be claiming those sheep soon. Still want Coming of Age (dot solidish, name in flux) to contest 'em. HAK's been playing a good imperialistic game and has a lot of power.

HAK advised by Murderous Mindy, please remember.

I poked a quecha over to the gold, as well. Retep's city is in a very logical location, and awesomely, it also nulls anything pushed further. This is actually a very nice border division, I hope he feels likewise and just chills in his vast backline. Retep's been playing a good imperialistic game and has a lot of power.

Retep ignoring advice by WilliamLP, please remember.

Getting a touch echo-y in here...
