Since I missed joining up for the last EitB PBEM, I thought I would get another one going since apparently there were several more people interested in starting one as well. Drop a post here if you're interested in playing, or just lurking.
EDIT: Here are the civ picks and playtimes.
1. jalapeno 8 PM-midnight EDT : Dain of the Amurites
2. Dreylin 8-11 PM CDT (9PM-midnight EDT) : Decius of the Calabim
3. Ventessel 3:30-4:45* AM or lunchtime or 6-9 PM EDT : Cardith Lorda of the Kuriorates
4. DaveV 6-7 AM or lunchtime or 6-9 PM EDT : Volanna of the Svartalfar
5. Aurorarcher 2-4 PM EDT, sometimes 1-4 AM : Kandros Fir of the Khazad
*changed from 4.30-5.30

I'm in. I'm flexible on settings except I prefer no-diplomacy (and a commitment to PYFT).

No diplomacy as an in game (as in no open borders, etc) or as an out of game agreement?

No diplomacy as in no human diplomacy. You can use the ingame screens to trade and whatnot, but no actual talking ingame or out of game

Checking in & interested. On holiday at the moment but should be back when the game's ready to start. Will check thread when I can, but preferences are below.
AI diplo fine by me; prefer EitB, but will play base if consensus is for that. Flexible on other settings, though I prefer more balancing (or mirrored) map to no balancing.
Play window is 8pm to 11pm US Central time.

I'm interested, depending on how long the setup phase takes. I'll be on vacation and offline from May 20-27, but available after that.
Play times 6-7 AM, noon-1 PM, 6-9 PM, all US eastern time. Can blitz on weekends, given some advance notice.
I very much prefer AI diplo, and don't like lairs or huts. Like Dreylin, I prefer balanced or mirrored maps.

A balanced map would be fine by me. I guess the setup would depend slightly on the Civs people prefer, whether leaning towards uniform geography or more regional setup (No fun to play the Lanun on Pangea/donut, or the Hippus on archipelago for example)
An East/West setup could be interesting, with some mirroring.
Not sure how I feel about not having communication at all, I enjoy at least a little bit of diplomacy versus constant paranoia/war.
I've only played EitB once, and a decent amount of FFH single player about five years ago. Apparently there are a lot of new leader options with EitB, if we played that is there any preference on restricted/unrestricted leaders?
From the looks of things we'll probably have 4-6 human players, I don't know how long the details of setup usually take to hash out but I'd imagine we could get started in no more than 1-2 weeks?
I can play turns 0430-0530 or 1800-2100 EST consistently during the week, with the possibility of squeezing a turn in during the middle of the day every day but Mon/Tues. Weekends from May-July I probably can't blitz without at least two weeks notice.

I'm interested, but I won't play another "we have 3 turns in a week" -game. I want people to commit to play 1t/day. Of course sometimes people are busy etc. and can't get the turns in time, and that's fine. But what I mean is that in general the goal of everyone should be to keep the 1t/day pace up. And if you can't sometimes for whatever reason, then inform in the tech thread!
What comes to settings I'm also fine with AI diplo. If there's lairs they should be distant enough, no opinion on huts. Balanced map would be great, I hate mirrored maps though (not very fun that enemy knows every tile of your empire by only scouting their own land!). Of course finding perfect balance is probably impossible without mirrored map.
Most reliable playing time for me is 2-4 PM, but can also occasionally play like 1-4 AM. All EST times. Weekends blitz should work for me, especially when noticed in advance.

Ha! I'm wistful for those "good old days" of three turns a week...
