Building Universities in some of our cities is going to be a tall order though now we're back on the island.

I assume one of you guys is playing (or has played) the turn, right?

THH proposed peace and you both seem to think we should take it so I did. His WW must have been gigantic so we just made sure he will win, but it's not like there was any suspense.

THH built Notre Dame and made peace with Mardoc, which means he's at peace with everyone. His GNP is back to everyone else's level and he even proposed OB :

We have a few cities with no foreign TRs (which is weird actually, we only have them with 4 or AlH's cities) so it would be pretty beneficial for us (about as much as for him). What do you guys think ?

In other news I'm out of town this weekend (starting tomorrow afternoon) so I need one of you to play the turns.

Now I'm jealous of your definition of a weekend mischief

I'll try to take the turns (starting from the next to come in), but naturally I won't be too reliable...

Open Borders - very strange we don't get all our trade routes elsewhere... I'm a little paranoid THH could scout our island defenses for an invasion (he already knows where our cities are from pre-wartime). I'd rather not to, is there a chance trade routes still get recalculated? We should also get them from Mardoc...

It's been that way for a few turns so no I don't think it will be recalculated. Actually if you want to play the current turn I'd be grateful.
Friday is the 8th of may, the WW2 armistice, hence the long weekend.

recalls me we have mostly religious holidays nobody knows the meaning of (we had that issue some time ago...). Well May 8 probably can't be a holiday here, as much as I personally consider it a day to celebrate, but at least one of the republican anniversaries wouldn't be bad.

Oh and I'd start some libraries / unis to get Oxford within reach, now that we got peace?

One of the cities is making 10hpt and should be changed to a library this turn to be whipped next. The other makes 9hpt and should wait

Actually scrap that, wait everywhere.
