Northstar, I would like to emphasize two statements:

That you see the wisdom in this is your own choice, but for your sake it should come sooner than later. I do not know of many that can simply sit idly by while accepting someone else's orders blindly.

At the least, Kragoth and I are very unlikely to give it a fair hearing if you present more complaints in this thread. If a genuine injustice has occurred, I would very much prefer to hear about it from someone else because it will be easier for me to remain objective and fair about it.

Out of curiosity Ellimist. How did North fare in our 7 day trial?

Ellmist, why must you add to the drama by emphasizing statements posted several pages ago? I am only trying to get my turns played properly and sent out in reasonable time- the timeline wouldn't have been unreasonable here even if Old Lion had never played the last turn in the first place, but I am trying to draw his attention to the things that he needs to pay attention to each turn so that he can operate relatively independently and I don't have to always leave him complicated instructions in the future (which themselves have the potential to be botched- as it's much easier for me to spot mistakes in a plan when actually playing a turn than when writing instructions) or risk his botching turns on a fairly regular basis...
I believe Old Lion is a smart player with a lot of potential- it just seems his attention to detail is still somewhat lacking. Which comes with experience- when you better learn what your possible actions are, what things you have to actually pay attention to, and what the consequences of missing them can be in the long run if you don't (in this regard, my previous duels and PBEM's have been a tough school for rapidly learning many of these details) then you inevitably become a much more skilled player... I have hope that Old Lion will quickly surpass me in the long run.

Northstar

Kragroth, don't even start on that again- nobody appointed you king of the PBEM, and gave you authority to set up metrics on everybody else around you...
IF you really must, though, we've averaged more than 2 turns/day for the past week *when we had the save from you guys in time to do it* on my and Old Lion's end, and even (in fact always when a replay was not necessary- Old Lion hasn't managed to play a turn completely independently yet w/o botching it... A sobering fact I hope we can improve on...) the turns played by Old Lion I have been behind, providing him with instructions and often ready to play only a few hours later than day if he didn't get the save around before I did. When you consider that fact- and don't try something unfair like only crediting me the turns I actually sent myself- you see that things are going quite well even by your own metrics...

Northstar

Guys,
I thought the instructions I got covered the situation. (except for one aspect)
Since it is not satisfying for Northstar, I stop being a replacement.
I find it too hard to know what is or is not within Northstar instructions or intentions.
+
using my first turn blunder ad nauseam to justify everything after starts running on my nerves.

I'm not willing to tolerate Old Lion leaving due to Northstar. If Northstar cannot work with Old Lion then I want Northstar removed. This is the last straw for me.

Kragroth- you can't force a partner on somebody and then remove the original player because they are critical of the mistakes of the player you forced upon them.
I will try and convince Old Lion to change his mind- but I'm not going anywhere. You need to stop this- you've been gunning to try and get me removed from literally every single PBEM I've played on this forum for close to 2 months now... You're *not* being fair or objective.
