I fear that is going to cause a conflict with Commodore because he has no Iron in his territory at all.

Nothing too eventful going on. I ferried a C1/G2 axe over to the other side of the straight to check out the barb city that sprang up, and lo and behold, only warriors.
So I attacked (at 99.9% odds) and killed the first warrior, while taking .6 damage. I'll likely attack the next one next turn, and hopefully be able to raze the city in 2 turns (I don't like it's location -- it's sitting ON wet rice).
I also ferried over a worker (who will start on the stone next turn) and a settler finished this turn and boarded the galley, so he will debark next turn then walk over to that city location there and plant. Hopefully by then my axe will have finished the barb city. ETA of city build is T89.
I also took a shot of my domestic adviser so you can see what's going on right now in my civ.
My first Gallic Warrior is on the way while MC grows to size 8, then it will be followed by a settler.

Turn 86
4.4/5 C1/G2 Axe attacked another barb warrior in the barb city and defeated him with no damage taken! So now he has another promotion available, and he'll be able to finish off the city next turn (hopefully).
My settler debarked onto the stone, which the worker has started quarrying, so everything is on track for the next city.

Since Retep was finally able to play, next turn is up. I'll post later today with a couple of screenshots -- I wanted to take my turn before bed last night, and now I'm at work.

So, T87 I got a blank diplo offer from DZ. I assume he must have accidentally hit the "send offer" button while looking at my diplo window. I rejected it out of spite.
My axe was able to level the barb city, and T89 Whitesnake was born.
It immediately boosted my commerce as all of my cities now have a 2 commerce trade route, but also increased maintenance. Which is weird, considering it's actually on the same land mass as me, just WAY around the world.
Other than that, not a huge amount to report. Commodore seems to be the city leader with 9 cities. HAK, DZ and I all have 7 cities and retep has 8. I have a settler in progress in MC which will be built in 3 more turns, and I'll be starting another settler in Warrant when it finishes its current build (a gallic) in 2 turns.
Took a shot of my area of influence and neighbors.
Next city will go E of Warrant on the other side of the straight (I want to settle those spots first). The two cities on my land mass I can probably do any time without someone else beating me to it.

HAK built the Great Lighthouse on T90. That'll definitely help him out, though right now he only has domestic TRs. There's an island south of me that I suspect he'll settle eventually, which is why I'm going to try to grab it first.
My settler finished this turn and boarded the boat, so he'll debark next turn across the straight. Settler after that is going south -- I'm going to use my scout to check out the island first before sending a settler there.
I finished quarrying the stone, and the worker is now building a road to Whitesnake so my cities will get access to it. I also transported another worker over so I'll have two working the two cities there.

So Elkad built the Great Wall and Commodore demanded (asked for?) sheep from me for free. Since I have more than one source, and he's currently leading in power, I accepted. That should keep me a little safe, though I'm still building units.
I noticed the Gavagai is expanding towards me...
Which means I will only get one more city over there for a total of 2 instead of the three I had hoped. My second city over there will get built in 2 turns (T96). Settler is ready, but with Gavagai so close and a barb axe wandering nearby, I don't want to leave my city completely undefended, so I have to wait for a protector.
Other than that, not much going on. Still fairly quiet in the game. I was going Polytheism->Monotheism->Monarchy, but I'm thinking about delaying Montheism and going Metal Casting instead for my cheap forges and the possibility of the Colossus. Org Religion would be a nice boost to my production, but so would forges. Hmm.
