[LURKERS] Rollin' them Bones

I followed the mandate for one roll, no balancing, which is why this is going to be a very low-food game compared to our usual. I hope they realize that before they waste too many turns wandering looking for more stuff.

Also, I couldn't decide if Churchill or Stalin was the worse leader, so I went based on their starts. Commodore does say he likes to chop, but I figured actual resources were more important.

Wow, HAK has an awful start. I think I would strike out into the fog if I were him. Can't get much worse than a no food capital

Yeah. The winner may already be decided just based on the leaders and map, honestly (although I didn't look carefully enough to tell you which one has the winning hand). But I hope they can have some low stress fun with this.

I think most of the conflict will be in not starving on this map script. Where the food?

Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon

How many land tiles per player are there? It's gotta be north of 300 or something like that, if this is was small-sized (5-player) Totestra random roll. Low food + huge map is gonna be a snoozefest.

I didn't count, but it was a Tiny-sized map to begin with, hand hacked to be Small officially.

Stonehenge before settler ? Wow.

Didn't scooter try that on a cramped map before? I think he ended up pulling off the wonder but then everyone rushed him.

If Commodore can find some Horses, Charismatic NC will boss this map. Barracks provide 3XP for Flanking II, so it's even easier than normal to ignore Stables, then the initial round of withdrawals/post-Cata clean up give 1XP for free healing via Combat I.

Chopping/using a stack of these is going to be a damn sight more fun than desperately scrambling Archers/Spears/Chariots to defend. And it actually has the potential to succeed, whereas his poor targets aren't going to win, no matter how things play out. If the rush works, then Charismatic NC ---> Knights are OP; if the stack dies miserably, then Commodore was just role-playing/trying to have fun with a bad leader on an impoverished map. Win-win for him.
