Well, at least I'm not the only one having to explore with the Settler. Only Khan settled on the first turn.
And I'll still keep wandering next turn too. Probably going SW-SW. If that hill looks decent enough, I can settle there and instantly pop that hut with the borders.
Looks like I'm going to have a LOT of plains to deal with over the course of my game. Gonna be slow for sure.
Still need to also figure out what to research, but don't need to choose that yet. Hopefully I'll see some sort of food and that'll help me decide between Agriculture or Fishing. Or maybe I'll just see if I can quickly grab one of the religions since nothing else seems viable. Though Khan being Spiritual (and already having his city) may have already started along that path, so I'd have the 50/50 shot of choosing whichever one he didn't. I'd think he might go for Meditation (if anything), so I could go for Poly.
Or with all these hills and forests, I just have to got Mining/BW. Guess I'll wait and see what the crazy random map gives me.
