I just thought to check foreign cash reserves. Com has 484 gold, holy shit. He's making 151gpt in his GA though, so I don't think that's from failgold. Com started a GA on the same turn I did, by the way, I'm not sure if I mentioned that. I think, once we're both out of the GA, our break-even income will actually be about the same, once I grow a bit and go back to working Rep scientists everywhere, with the exception that he'll be 3-4 techs ahead and will have generated something like 2 extra great people in the GA, while I'll only get half of two. Well, so it goes. If I can be second to Knights I think that'll still be fine.
OTOH, Gavagai has 389 gold while gaining.... 9gpt, so I think he got a fair bit of failgold there from the mids. 9gpt, really? He really needs Currency, as much as he probably wants construction. Good luck Borsche, lets hope he doesn't want to kill you! Nobody else had any sizeable amount of gold on hand... so although its possible that someone had something T104, it wasn't sizeable enough to mean a significant investment in the wonder.

Funny game situation: I have the MoM at completion, but I'm afraid to actually finish it because Gavagai's power continues to rise despite stalling on Borsche. He's up to 368k soldiers this turn. ALSo, Donovan's power has started to spike too - he's at about 275k, has Construction, and I think will soon be attacking Elkad, who seemingly stopped building troops all together about 20 turns ago. I'm only at 238k now, despite 4th place. ;[

I mean, I have a lot of Impis (a half dozen at this city, IIRC) and other crap on hand, but like, he just has so much more, lol... His economy is a complete wreck because of it though, despite those fancy gold mines - he saves gold at 6gpt. 0_0
T110, Commodore revolted into Vassalage. Cripes. So, 2 techs off Knights? I assume if he's ignoring the MoM w/ his GE (he has no Calendar resources hooked), he's bulbing Machinery, leaving just Guilds left to go? Knights in 6-7 turns or so? I should be second to them (I think my economy is actually better that Coms, he's just way ahead from the Oracle/Bulb/Currency thing) but I'll still be about a dozen turns behind him, heh.

On the upside, I now have almost 6 forges complete and a full set of 10 libraries in 10 cities. So, I'll be pumping a lotta military out soon. I been wondering whether delaying Knights in favor of beelining Music (for a faster-timed MoM GA) would be a smarter play... I could still do Some Stuff with Agg swords and horchers, just not as efficiently. Well, I'm just gonna save gold for awhile, at any rate.

Gavagai's stack disappeared from outside Dunkin' Donuts this turn, where I had been spying it with an Impi. Last turn, T112, it had 19 Numids; I am 100% convinced I will find it in my borders within the next turn or two. He's at 0gpt at 100% tax this turn, possibly even negative, with 27 gold in the bank, and he played like a 7 minute turn. His formerly big cities are now whipped to almost nothing. I'm not the only one who can go on tilt, it seems, just the one who likes to post the most loudly about it...

Elkad declared war on Donovan and spawned the game's first Great General while I was logged in... he has the Great Wall, but I still think that's at least like 8 units killed or something, if its within his own culture? Mmmm, I hope it goes well for him, it would not be good for me if he got rolled right now. I wish I could jump in on this, but I've been stacking everything I have in Harappan in case Gavagai decides to get feisty. I'm going to whip in one more Impi in this city next turn and then let the MoM finally finish the turn afterwards. At that point I'll have, I think, 14 units inside plus 3rd ring culture, and I could start on a walls right away too. So, I think I'd be fine unless he already has many cats up here too?

T117 or whatever. I decided to finally let the MoM finish this turn; gonna throw another GA in 6 turns w/ the music artist. My economy is #1 even now, although based on Com and retep's whips, looks like he's already got KNights. Whatever! Hopefully retep can build cats and elephants and make Com stall out after a few cities. Gavagai lost like 15 gold last turn, to end up at 1 gold this turn. So, I think he moved into Borsche's territory and will start going on strike unless he can get some capture gold this turn. GOod luck, Borsche!

LOL, Commodore thinks PB25 is a good map because his head is so far up his own ass that he can't make any judgements other than "My position is good, therefore this map is good!"
