[Spoilers] I have enough games already. Oh look, a PBEM !

Ok I'm going for a second WB (chopped), then warrior->settler

But the most important is the copper placement which... Is right where I was considering putting the second city.

Well that one's set in stone, I *hope* I'll have time to sim this afternoon to know if wheel->agri->AH->pottery->writing gets AH in time for ivory. Else it's going to be wheel->AH->pottery->writing and losing on a lot of prereq bonuses. I'll set up a new sandbox with the new situation to play around.

Clearly you didn't learn a lot from the recent Pink Dot Adventure. mischief

Oh but I have. In my tries (I tried 3 or 4 times, just to be sure) I can't get the Zara spot before Zara settles 2 tiles away from it. So I've definitely learned not to race against Zara nod

which variant? Grow to size 3 or 4? If you want to revolt, do it know before the pasture comes online (well maybe the ideal turn would be the one when the 2nd WB is moving?)

Excellent! We'll get vision on the fogged ocean tile 2w 1n of the bananas from border pop before we have to decide the final city location, right? Just so we don't miss any seafood.

Size 4 variant. And yeah revolt when the WB is moving is probably best.

The unfogged tile will be seen when I put the settler on the GH south of bananas before going W or SW.

It is with great sadness that I have to report the death of our scout, eaten by a lion. He will be remembered fondly.

I'm sure the lion will remember him, as the best meal he had in all the centuries of his existence

We met someone ! And obviously it had to be Sian's Zulu civ...

He's right before us in the turn order so he sent a hello along with the save. I think it's this kind of "hello"

If he wants to impi troll, let him eat phalanx spears. We should be ok, just have to take care with workers on borders

Given the orientation of the scout he's coming from the south, right? So that area might be contested early and we should put some focus on claiming it

Yep.

The border pop showed us a second source of copper, in a very reasonable position :
