Spare gold is important too, try to split the margin 50/50 when cutting it close. If you run short on gold, the research slider dumps so you need both in spares. Just ask Harry about manipulating other players' sliders.. good thing retep doesn't have bombers!

Wow, Old Harry. I'm sorry you have to read that in the PB27 org thread.
 Joey definitely had the hardest start position here (not going to say the worst now, please note, he can actually win this), but he's not even close to the screwedest player ever. In all RB games ever, he's not even in the top 50 most challenging.
