Hey man.
The game is as good as over I think, ipacac spent his cats and I've got cavalry so it's just cleaning up now. I made the decision to wait for astro before I attacked to pin his forces and split his stack. My production is double the next player and my gdp will expode when I get to start working the newly conquered towns, I think I'm going to head for communism just to seal the deal on domination. CH being so far away is problematic but I think I'm going to try a OH/Fin style war from the sea for practice. This is assuming the game goes on that long. Or I may just invade Whosit.
In the hiatus I forgot to mention I'm going to need a sub/replacement. I hate to do this but I'm going away for 4 weeks of holidaying. I assumed the game would be done by now and with my exams I lost track of dates.
So, 1 civ, perfect for a newer player to mess around and practice some war making with. There is effectively no local opposition due to the balance of powers and my MFG and tech lead. Anyone is free to log in, even if you are just curious and have no interest in taking over, you are Augustus and there is no password. There is no pressure to preform, I ceased any micro weeks ago and am pursuing a sloppy domination win/concession. I will be around to ease the transition if needed.
As a side note I wasted 10 cats in what is easily my stupidest moment in civ yet. I opened the game to find multiple cities under siege and assumed that I had a carefully planned assault left for me to execute by past me, I did not.
My final exam is tomorrow so I should have pictures soon.
