Anyone think that Retep's intervention in Commodore's plans reduce the foregoneness of the conclusion for this game? Is Commodore going into old-Com-style grudge mode or will he play the front runner, accept that everyone wants a shot at him and only hit back when profitable?

Can I hope that he grudge modes against everyone, causing the global economy to collapse into an endless medieval state of total war? This would please the blood god immensely, from my understanding of the Bloody Texts.

Heh, one thing GJ and Comm have in common; they both love to talk down their chances.
I think Comm could use dtay to talk him out of any rash decisions in the next few turns. So hopefully he stays on holiday.

Thanks for the post TBS. Also, lol at Gavagai. Very tender guy. I want to put a supportive arm around Joey but he just doesn't want to hear it so I'm going to stop. I think a sub is probably best. Thanks for that offer too.

I'm not overly fond of Joeys' play for the past few turns/tech threads, but I'm even less fond of Commodores' posting for the past while. Especially when you know they're going to read it, there's no need to post things that are vaguely aggressive/insulting.

I know people are sick of hearing this from me, but I'm beyond belief after looking through this thread and just have to say something. How could any of y'all thought this was balanced? I'm also very disappointed that nobody even bothered to look closely at the resource distribution (so many posts of "I don't have time to look at this closely but...") Is it really so much to ask to spend an hour looking at a map and typing up your thoughts for a game the players will spend hundreds of hours a piece on? Wouldn't you hope someone else would do it for a game you were playing in?
