PB22 - Substitute for Gawdzak

Gawdzak has disappeared from RB and we really would like to see PB22 to get a proper ending. Gawdzak is #1 currently, but no way a certain winner. The game is far in the tech thread. e.g. Gawdzak has almost reached Fusion and there are space ships under construction by several players. The game should easily end within next 50T so it would be over fast.

Please write here, if you would be intrested in to play, how spoiled you're and your experience level, if you've not played games here at RB.

Could some of the lurkers check, if there is Gawdzak's password available or do we need to request someone to hack the save to get it.

The password is in the first post of Gawdzak's spoiler thread. (Not a signup).

It should be added that the game is played with RB-mod. (Version 2.0.7.4.)

I took some pictures and have a sit-rep below if anyone is interested.

Here's the most important screen. The only important tech you(and everyone else) is missing to the left is Medicine - required for Genetics. Gavagai is 1 tech behind, Plako and GJ are 2.

At a quick estimate, you're talking about 15t to build the spaceship and then 10t to defend your capital. So, there's 25t left to play here.

You currently have a Great Scientist and a Great Engineer. The GE from Fusion is surely yours and a 4th GP is coming here:

Too many Great Engineers for a 4 person golden age, so you have to figure out something else to do with them.

Your demos look pretty good in both research and production. Most cities are currently on wealth builds or spaceship parts so I guess city management wouldn't be too bad.

It appears Gavagai is still building troops though, so perhaps he has some more hammers he could devote toward wealth building. GJ and Gavagai recently had a messy fight.

Your own army is in pretty good shape. Here's the main stack:

The rest appears to be quite evenly spread throughout your territory.

Guys, if you know anyone who can be interested in this, I would ask you to direct them here. I think, at this point we may settle even for a greener player. Also, may be advertizing this vacation on other civ forums would prove useful.
(For my part, I e-mailed to a couple friends; I, actually, got a semi-positive response from Furungy. He told that he may consider stepping in after July, 20th. Of course, I'd hope we find someone else before.)

When reloading this game I saw a turn hadn't been played in a long time -- I haven't been following this game since Commodore was eliminated (I was nominally dedlurking him, though I wasn't plugged in at all). What would be worse, letting the game die or letting Gawdzak's civ be taken over by AI, with restrictions against remaining players abusing the AI for advantage? I don't know the existing game state, but I would guess letting the remaining contenders finish out the game would be better than calling off the ending. What do you guys think?

Played: Pitboss 18 - Kublai Khan of Germany Somalia | Pitboss 11 - De Gaulle of Byzantium | Pitboss 8 - Churchill of Portugal | PB7 - Mao of Native America | PBEM29 Greens - Mao of Babylon

It sounds like you are willing to takeover for Gawdzak.
