Better late than never I guess, I know I did a pretty sloppy job but here it is. *big image file below* Gavagai did beat me to the Internet, I was 1 turn too late for the coin-flip unfortunately. However, I got something better: I estimate the Internet would give me about 400 beakers per turn. From the stats screen, I have 45 coal plants so that's an extra 360 hammers per turn with the multipliers. 360 hammers building Wealth is better than 400 beakers on full slider, not to mention the flexibility to build military/infrastructures. A random event anyone can get with dumb luck is better than a 2000 hammer wonder? Sounds balanced.
A few turns ago, I got this offer:
What happened was that GermanJoey attacked 2metra. 2metra obviously want help, but I would gain absolutely nothing from that,so, sorry 2metra. I don't really care even if Joey conquers 2metra entirely because by my estimation the game will be over before the conquered cities becomes productive again. Joey since only managed to raze two cities. Another note is that Plako is starting another drafting spree, I hope he's going after Dtay and not me. I completed Apollo Program turn 277. After Biology, I've been focusing on growing a few more cities to their full potential. My production and GNP is very competitive to Gavagai's: Just this turn, GermanJoey declared war on Gavagai, razing a border coastal city. I can't really make sense of what exactly happened. What's next for me? I'm going to try to get to Fusion first, both to deny the Great Engineer and to start building the engines. I'm starting to pre-workshop/farm over my cottages, since I expect to finish most of the tech tree in the next 20 turns. I'm trying to squeeze out the GPs for a 4 man golden age, the odds of me getting 4 GP of different type aren't good because of the polluted pool in my capital but still worth a try, I think. Maybe I will need to declare on Plako at some point, he's mostly caught up now with his cheese espionage economy. Lastly, it's probably a good idea to start stockpiling nukes.
On a 1% chance that you're still checking this thread and were otherwise unaware that Caledorn's server has been repaired, the game is up and players are looking for a replacement for you. Any comment one way or the other about whether you can continue would be appreciated by many people.
I hope all is well.

Well, planning out that spaceship was a LOT harder than expected. The lack of land area is annoying, even after paving over cottage cities I'll just barely have enough cities to build all the parts with pretty much no redundancy. Barring spies or invasions(aka unrealistically optimistic), I think I can finish the ship the turn after I complete ecology, which I'm pushing for in 9t.
Hopefully nobody was planning on invading me, because I left the military for next turn to figure out. Quote:ecology, which I'm pushing for in 9t. Whoops, 11t: 2t Fusion with a scientist bulb 2t Satellites, which Gawd already has ~3k beakers into 2t Composites 2t Medicine with lots of overflow 2t Genetics with lots of overflow 1t Ecology. We can build enough research to do that, but with the amount of cottages we'll be destroying and hammers that go into the spaceship, I can't sustain that output. I'm hopeful we can starve enough on Rep scientists to make it though. |
