The Vikings were nerfed because both the Trading Post and Berserkers were extremely strong and unique UB and UUs that gave advantages through most of the game, as compared to other UB and UUs that, for the most part, give an advantage to a single era. (or else have a much smaller bonus, e.g. the Mint)

I would suggest redoing/reviewing your natneg stuff. I do know the other day when I tried to connect to you it didn't work for me either.
