In PB18 the mod was patched to disable map trades; if map trading is banned again here, I imagine it will be a similar sort of deal.

We could assume Soren wasn't an idiot and revert map trades to Paper.
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.
I write RPG adventures, and blog about it, check it out.
Hey all, I've been rather inactive here for a while having heavy work commitments and a few games ongoing. Adrien said that I had been signed up to this and it is perfect timing for me. I switch jobs in August to a regular hours post with no unsociable hours commitment rotation for 6 months. I know the game will take longer than that, although my next post as well I have been informed is much better than what I am on currently, so playing shouldn't be an issue.
I haven't read through the thread, and I will try to soon. I'm game whatever settings/picks are as I doubt another game this size will be played on this game that I enjoy so much! From the perspective of a player unbesmirched by the lurker thread, not knowing the entire world's layout was a good thing. If players choose to scout poorly they may be punished for making bad decisions and that is ok. It's a game of trade offs. Scout poorly at your peril is my view. Again... Not playing. Just my .02, sans KTB. (July 26th, 2015, 21:14)BRickAstley Wrote:(July 26th, 2015, 08:45)Commodore Wrote: We could assume Soren wasn't an idiot and revert map trades to Paper. Game was also designed first most as single player, with an AI that immediately knows how much map you have that it hasn't and can value accordingly. |
