Where does the extra-lynch come from?
@Jabbz can you enlighten us what the torture did to you?

I meant to imply that, Jabbz was going to get lynched someday the rate things where going. If the consequence is losing powers, like the write-up seems to imply, that means he's not scum and so won't be lynched.

Well that wasn't overly unexpected. As Perseus, I had the power to use my shield to redirect a night action from one player to another. It had two uses, neither of which had been burned prior to the torture. Now that power is gone. I guess as far as powers to lose it's not terrible, especially given my lack of a lean on anyone prior to the torture. I'll be looking back in depth at those who pushed the torture, though I'm not sure I'll get much information out of it. I'm currently trying to decide if this makes me less a target to scum or more, but we will see tonight I suppose.

This is ridiculous Zak. As I've mentioned more than once, I have a strong background in Greek and Roman Mythology. I'm having fun with it. Why so eager to jump on me for it hrm?

I think more to the point, why would you think it was an alignment shift? What in the text given by Serdoa would imply that?

Well, I don't. I hadn't really heard of Perseus before. If you're making a fake claim, you will be worried that your audience (i.e. people like me) don't think your claim is "good enough", and so you'll have an urge to explain who your character is. If you're a town power role, like you alluded to, you will have no such incentive. That was my thought process. I do agree it was a minor thing, but like you've pointed out yourself, it's not easy to build a case against you because there isn't much actual content to latch on to. Your posts are just endless variations of "names are meaningless, torture is bad, I have no solid leads". So when I noticed something concrete that might be a tell I thought it was worth pointing that out.
If you know what I mean.

I just want to say, this game is kind of awesome.

Now that I actually have the ability to isolate your posts, and am starting to read you with a town bias, I can see that this is perhaps a somewhat unfair summary. But in any case, that has been my general impression until now.

Actually, the tally when Brick had voted was:
5 votes: Marcus Aurelius ( MJW (ya that one), novice, zakalwe, AdrienIer, BRickAstley)
2 votes: Mattimeo ( Lewwyn, Mattimeo)
So there was already a majority for torturing someone, and thus for torturing MA. There were still a few hours until the deadline, though, so arguably he could have tried for Mattimeo instead.
If you know what I mean.

perseus was in a YA series and later a pair of hollywood movies (Percy jackson and the lightning thief)
iirc it was the 3rd most popular greek hero behind achilles and hercules, and iirc was namedropped in the disney movie hercules.
