Everyone here feels town to me except Zak. If not for his last vote on the BRick torture he'd be a perfect target. I'll be rereading again.

No deaths, interesting. Anyone have any observations to make about their actions etc? Not killing is definitely not beneficial to the scum in this round.

Well, as much as I'd love to take credit for this fait accompli, it must have been someone else, as I had submitted no night actions last night.

So I reread some people and the only one that stands out is Marcus Aurelius. He was caught several times for shady logic (ex zak's post 408) and he's been playing the newb card a lot with what feels like made up misunderstandings here :

(August 5th, 2015, 23:57)Marcus Aurelius Wrote: Hmm ... this whole torture thing is kind of weird. If I read the initial post correctly it should have given some sort of answer. Therefore the most reasonable explanation is that he has some sort of 'immunity' where, even though the torture really really hurts ... he won't talk. Now, either this is his "power" which, if town, would be a red herring, or if a 'god' might at least give him a chance at avoiding a lynch.

Where he says he read the opening post although he misunderstood how torture worked, here

where he seemed to have not read the first post at all, here

(August 7th, 2015, 11:41)Marcus Aurelius Wrote: Gazglum, why would you want for people to Name-reveal during the Night?

where he votes during the night, here

(August 7th, 2015, 13:42)Marcus Aurelius Wrote: Ergo, I see no reason why torture would cause an alignment shift

where he again doesn't seem to have read the OP

He is also the one who first started attacking Matt, and asking for no torture prior to his lynch on post 266.

Jabbz apparently lost his powers when he was mis-tortured. If we do the same to you, who have no powers, I expect you will at best die. That would actually be a pretty good outcome, because it would give us a double lynch. But if you don't die, I don't expect anyone to trust you to remain innocent after the torture. I would also be concerned that the torturer himself could die or change alignment if we hit another innocent. I think we may have pushed our luck far enough when it comes to torturing.

You'll have to choose, if I'm a god as you say I am you should torture me, if you don't think I'm a god then there's no reason to torture or lynch me. If you're undecided the worst case scenario is probably what happened yesterday lynching an untortured villager (well we have a confirmed town now, or as close as can be so it wasn't that bad of a day).

Interesting. Why so ?

Anyone wish to take credit? Even though we are at 6 people, we don't have a lot of time left for reveals n such, and if Matt had revealed, imho, he would not have been lynched.

Do any investigation roles wish to shed light on anything? I'd prefer we not have another quiet game.

So then, I'll come out and say that I think Adriener is the Torturer. IF he ain't town, he couldn't be wolf ... so maybe SK? That's my theory at least, that he is the torturer, I have no current read on his alignment, but tbh I was at first suspicious of him being a wolf until I later re-read Day 1 and saw that he was likely the torturer, due to adding info to the conversation that only a torturer could know (imho).

Honestly though, I don't know how SK could be added .. I mean, 3 wolves + SK? Only if EVERYONE is either a doctor or a jailer ... lol ... but then again, that could be possible (I suppose), seeing as no one died tonight. There could indeed be either a 2nd doctor, a 2nd jailor, or something else ....

one possible scenario is that Adriener (either as Torturer *or* as Torturer/SK) had a 1-shot night kill immunity. If the wolves had targetted Adriener, and he had at least a 1-shot NK immunity, then that would explain how nothing could happen without there being any additional doctors or jailers.

Still ... would this mean that SK alternates night-kills with the Gods? Or maybe there isn't any SK, and its just that the torturer is NK immune (for at least 1 shot). If SK made first kill (N1), and Wolves made second kill (N2) it would make sense that they might target a suspected SK. (or at least have the opportunity to). If Wolves made the kill both nights, then they probably just hit an NK immune torturer, or something. Likely because they were getting a scum read, but knew he wasn't scum (b/c they were scum) and therefore, suspected an SK. Granted ... I'm not 100% convinced that there is an SK, but MJW did mention it so I suppose it isn't impossible.

MJW, do you have a night action in addition to your double vote?
If you know what I mean.

Oh I seem to have forgotten the most important part of my message, Marcus Aurelius Marcus Aurelius

Marcus what the hell are you talking about stop making things up that are demonstrably impossible Novice claimed torturer here :

But OK, I suppose he could be a godfather who was stripped of his powers? Seems very far-fetched. To be clear, Serdoa didn't tell me anything about any side effects from the torture.
