Four scum seems excessive though in an 11 player game. Do you really believe that, MJW?

It could happen if the gods don't actually work together to win. It's just a random possibility.

Jabbz being godfather is possible but unlikely due to the flavor of losing powers being too strong. Also his powers would be hard to claim at the stage of the game and fit too snuggly with the flavor to be fake. So he would be a godfather+redirector which is too much when Brick is vanilla.

It had two uses, neither of which had been burned prior to the torture. Now that power is gone. I guess as far as powers to lose it's not terrible, especially given my lack of a lean on anyone prior to the torture. I'll be looking back in depth at those who pushed the torture, though I'm not sure I'll get much information out of it. I'm currently trying to decide if this makes me less a target to scum or more, but we will see tonight I suppose.

Could you elaborate on this, Jabbz? What kind of redirection are we talking about here? Pick targets A and B, and then what happens, exactly?
If you know what I mean.

A hundred times yes. Although 2 scum for 9 (once Lewwyn kills Rowain) is ok even without powers, especially if there's no doctor mischief

Since my name is coming around, and I did something important last night, now is as good a time as any to reveal. I did not lie when I said I lost my power to redirect. However, what I gained with my thousand yard gaze, was the power of the gorgon I slayed and used so effectively against the titan. I have now the unlimited power to stone an individual at night, rendering them unable to conduct a night action, and unable to vote.

This is why Zakalwe was asking MJW about his powers. He was questioning whether or not MJW had taken away his vote. MJW did not, I however did. Further, no night kill happened last night. Tactically, that makes no sense for scum, as they are in a 1/5 position, and failing to kill benefits them in no way. This means the power to kill was stopped. Given that MA says he failed to protect someone last night, I feel it is likely that I stopped Zakalwe from taking action.

Zak, specifically to your question, once again, I had the power you have bolded above. That is as close an answer as I can give without quoting GM messages, or trying to guess out exactly how the mechanics work, neither of which I am willing to do. At this point, I am open to lynching Zakalwe. I would in theory be open to torture, however I feel that it is likely that our final deity has some sort of anti-detection power, or could somehow benefit from being tortured. I'll be around a bit to answer questions, but my internet is spotty at the moment, so it might take me a bit.

I wouldn't say there was anything in the flavor that strongly indicated Jabbz losing powers. He lost an eye, but still - it's flavor, after all. Brick asked to die but he wasn't a tanner. If Novice hadn't said that it sounded like a villager losing his powers I wouldn't have taken anything for granted.

lol

I was about to say that MA forgetting to kill is implausible because of the amount of talk that happens in the wolf-thread and MA being active enough.

Jabbz is lying: Kill Jabbz if Zak can vote
Jabbz is telling the truth: only zak and novice has what it takes to no-kill. Lynch them in order.

That is certainly not as specific as you can get. You can explain how your power works without quoting anything.

I'll wait for your spotty internet connection to come up with something...

I am Narkissos, a self-watcher.

On N1, nobody visited me.
On N2, I was visited by Medusa, who petrified me so that I cannot vote today.

To demonstrate,
Jabbz

Can we have an official tally, Serdoa?

Jabbz, are you saying you gained this stoning ability from the torture?

That one I have heard of. How appropriate. smile

...of course that makes it a feasible fake claim, ironically.

Jabbz, enlighten us on Greek Mythology - wasn't Medusa slayed by Perseus? That's some quick thinking by Zak, there.

This game is pretty awesome.
I have to run.
