Tortoises totally do attack. Reference: I lost a galley to one in a SP game under a week ago.

Although maybe they don't have a high probability to do so, as I was certainly surprised.

Ooookay. So next turn I'll open the save and see whether Schrodinger's Workboat has been eaten by a Tortoise or if it had better things to do and wandered off instead.

The results are in and we can declare the winner of the Schrodinger Workboat Challenge™:

Your prize is a front row view of our opponent's borders... mischief

Why are you doing 2h chops? I assume that was far away and our of borders? Is it due to a specific ffh thing I'm unaware of?

I'm feeling so chuffed right now <3

Bob tells me that tortoises always attack, btw.

Speed up settlements/slightly bad micro putting workers waiting for settlers, is my assumption.

Yeah, I had a Worker prepping the road to "Button Moon" - the city to be planted North of Ivor - and decided to chop the site. I probably should have sent him back to Farm over the Ancient Tower, but in general I have a tendency to want to chop sites before settling on them to not lose the forest hammers. I really should get over it with FFH though since the chops are only 2/3 value as is.

For reference, after Button Moon in the North and Rainbow in the West, the list for the next 10 cities is (in no particular order):

Fingermouse
Morph
Danger Mouse
Bananaman
Rentaghost
Mr Benn
Captain Pugwash
Wizbit
Worzel Gummidge
The Wombles

Yeah, that's the Khazad who've built FotT. Here's what we can see in the SE:

Is this game v12? I think you should try out Foreign Trade in SP, I get the feeling one of my recent changes (+50% commerce from trade routes at the civic) is overpowered. Especially because it applies itself after building effects.

v11.1; '44 is the first with v12 remember.

We need to go through Trade to get to Vampires, but of course it cancels Agrarianism, so we probably would want to have Sanitation in hand before making that switch, don't you think?

Any comments on my previous civics analysis?
