Are you, in fact, a pregnant lady who lives in the apartment next door to Superdeath's parents? - Commodore

Well, not whatever. Feel pretty bad, the mistake is really fucking stupid. It looks like in this game I'm doomed to play terribly-terribly from the start to the very end. I can't even say that I'm glad to bring back intrigue into the game because this game doesn't deserve an intrigue; it deserves a quick end which Commodore, in his characteristic indecisiveness, hesitate to enforce.

Well, that's most likely game for me. Right on the same day with PB22.

The saddest part of it is that HAK/Mindy incredibly stupid strategy got vindicated. Basically, they could only succeed if they played against idiot. And this time they did play against idiot.

So what happened?

Given the frequency of HAK's updates he should have described it in every fucking detail. Basically, I gave him an opening to capture a city, clear away my culture and slam my SoD with everything he has - about a hundred units. Saw this possibility a second after I pressed "end turn" button. I think, I never before was so tempted to make a sneak double-move. I don't know the exact amount of damage done as I didn't log into the game but I suspect that very few of my units have survived.
I think HAK was able to break me psychologically here. It wasn't just this mistake; for quite a few turns it was obvious that HAK is gearing up for a new offensive but I did nothing to prepare and, basically, acted like we had a truce. This game was nothing for me but grinding warfare in which I didn't even have a real stake; and what HAK was doing was so annoying - and so idiotic - that my mind just refused to process it.
The worst thing is not the mistake per se but that I rewarded them for a bad play. My mind bleed when I think that this inane idea to attack me across the channel can be now presented as an example of strategic ingenuity.

Game is insane. HAK has just thrown away an easy victory in our war; Commodore refuses to win; Tasunke every turn sends me inane diplo messages which I can't be bothered to interpret.
