So the plans:
short-term: Get MoM eot 106
mid-term: hunker down and grow vertical
long-term: invade wetbandit/LT. Not sure whether to do so with CKNs (trying to catch him before he gets construction) or wait till Guilds. Basically hit north up towards his capital, will grab a pic when the save gets round. A scout is currently heading towards his territory to spy out the promised land
T101 report: nothing much, except that we get a Judaism spread from Alhazard at eot. Our first spread

Thanks for the pic dumps. I'll try to get my thoughts together maybe... tomorrow. Sorry, been busy last few days and I am kind of... sedated at the moment. But having scanned the city dumps, yeah, growing vertical would be a good move now, and probably try to get some more key buildings and infrastructure in our larger cities. Maybe even a Market in whichever city is destined to be our main GP farm? Maybe not. Proposed city locations look decent to me.
For war, do you have any way to estimate the timing differences between CKNs and Knights? It can be risky to attack with a slow-moving army, but time may not be on our side.

For Knights we need (on top of the techs for CKNs) additional HBR, Guilds, Feudalism, Monarchy, Priesthood, Monotheism, and Polytheism which should set back the attack at least 20 turns (guesstimate).

Sooner may be better than later, but it may be best to fill in the last few spots to settle first. How do you see us building our army? It looks like we'll have to lean on the whip.

I have good news, and bad news.
Religion spread in a critical border city, and one pigs site got taken.

Upgrades will be costly: a CKN is 60 h, an archer is 25h so the upgrade cost is 20 + 3* the hammer difference = 125. Hm.
Yeah, we'll likely have to whip most of them. Looking at the map though, realistically given the speed of CKNs we can only rely on taking the border city, and with luck a core city of LT's, but to push further to take the capital is unrealistic and costs will be killer anyway on Toroida.
I'm not very certain how it'll go really since I haven't actually done a serious invasion of anyone in MP before. I'll try my best but expect

Waiting for knights may be best, then. There's probably a reason most people do that. I think one of the real strengths for CKNs is in naval invasions because you can deal collateral from a boat. And they can deal collateral to units normally immune to it. Catapults are cheaper for a land invasion. I've gone to war in MP, but I can't say I'm a good role model. You gotta hit with overwhelming force, and preferably by surprise.
