Pulled back from this one, so no surprise it's fallen:

Killed the Axeman to get a view of the stack:

Don't like what I see... shakehead

I deleted the Moroi to stop Auror gaining cheap xp, but I guess that doesn't work:

Is this a known thing?

Yeah, it's that way in vanilla FFH too.

Whelp, just goes to show what you forget....

It only happens when the Moroi is in 'Burning Blood' mode though.

(its to prevent people from simply deleting the Moroi they used up, in case someone wanted to avoid extra XP by barbarian units xD)

Srsly tho, one time my Moroi stack turned barbarian and it was the Barbs that took my enemy's capital lol

It's something you can use tactically, because iirc they spawn with moves restored.

Interesting. Although no use here since only Jalepeno is ahead of me in the turn order. Not that there's much to be done at this point other than inflict as much damage as possible on the way out and hope that someone else sees the opportunity to hit Auror (though that seems increasingly unlikely).

Not a lot been going on recently, Auror's been resting and healing and ... oh bugger:

The loss of Button Moon also breaks my routes to Jalepeno, and the Copper & Happy resources he's been feeding me. frown

I'm pretty sure that Auror didn't know that I had started putting out Adepts, or he probably wouldn't have left his stack here:

Brought in all of my forces from both Ivor and Bagpuss; Burning Blood and Haste to get everyone in range and: hammer

jivejivejivejivejivejivejivejivejivejive

Had to use the Adept to hit with, so that element of surprise is gone and there's a good chance that's the last major blow I can strike against him, but it's good to go out swinging.... mischief

Yes! Easily worth it - presuming that stack was earmarked to kill you, it'll delay the end by a few turns at least. And that's probably worth more than burning one of your ex-cities would be.

Turn out that was a minor / distraction stack:

So it's nearly over for me; and judging by the report of DaveV losing a city, I don't think the game will last much longer either.

Ah well.
