For the records I oppose the aqueduct, couldn't it have been a crossbow or catapult? But what's five is done I guess.More seriously, can't we trade for health with somebody?
Euclid will do a knight soon, right? Otherwise let's move some of the first ones to be seen on the Zulu border. Hopefully that will make Sian look elsewhere...
Got numbers of that culture battle over the crab? Also will we get that grass tile in pappus' bfc from retep with Colossus culture?
Also, I like how everything's looking

It could but the aqueduct still fits into the plan for knights, it will still be useful later on when Thales grows even bigger and... I felt like building an aqueduct
Not sure when Euclid will build a knight, its production is really awful. But sure popping a knight on his border should make him look elsewhere.
I don't think we're really winning the culture battle which is very strange. Pappus will get its grassland tile back though.

Our little friend just spawned I whipped the capital and Pappus 30 additional hammers but the Pappus one couldn't get built this turn.
Here's the new city of Theon. I hope it knows its name.
And demos. We're close to second place in production (actually we were second last turn).

Hello Mr Knight, great to have you with us, want to bring your friends?
Is Theon save from barbs? Of not, you may want to bring a phalanx from hero at least. Gear you got the spare hammers for the settler, I had missed that. And nice to see that it has its worker right away. What's that about Theon's name? BTW ptolemaios would be one I'd recognise without having to look him up.
Also, can you profitably whip a workboat in hero (tbh no idea how many hammers that is)
Mid term a for / deer / coast city would be worthwhile, right (cost is a resource tile for us )

I think barbs don't spawn on islands this small.
Theon is also a reference to ASoIaF (and the tv show Game of thrones).
Hero is on its path towards Moai, no WB out of this city.
The eastern city will follow eventually yes.
It's 5AM, good night

I'm probably the only forum member who hadn't watched a single episode of GoT

Retep launched a golden age, his production is through the roof. I'm not sure what he intends to do with it though.

Sian's power is really spiking, I'm wondering if he's going after Grimace too. If he goes after us he'll destroy both of our chances, there's no way he can attack efficiently and he'll be facing knights too. He could be targeting Retep, to take him down, it would be some really good news.

I had to make a decision today : first option is whipping heavily for a quick buildup. Pro it means the conquest of Grimace is certain, con no economy for a while and if Sian takes half of Grimace he'll still have more land and will stay in front.
Second option is optimizing production for a slower buildup but more strategic flexibility, which is what I chose for now. We have a lot of good tiles (possibly as much as the others) and I want to use that advantage. Also if Sian attacks I need to still have enough pop to whip longbows/pikes/WEs.
