FYI, I'm heading out and will be back sometime tomorrow. So if any of you will need a pause (7 1/2 hrs left on clock), then you should make sure you get it taken care of yourself since I won't be here to pause it like I have been the past few days. Hopefully everyone is simply able to play within the normal turn timer though.
Played my turn. Left it paused.
I have finally decided to put down some cash and register a website. It is www.ruffhi.com. Now I remain free to move the hosting options without having to change the name of the site.

I lost connection to the server and now when I try to connect back, it tries to connect me to a different game. So I'm thinking maybe this one needs to be reloaded? You should be able to do so using my Logout save.
I'm rebooting my computer again right now to try again, but I already did that once and it didn't help, so I'm not expecting success. EDIT: Looks like you can disregard. After waiting about another 10 minutes or so, it appears to be working again. So it straightened itself out.
Did that before for me too, game was 28 wasn't it?
If only you and me and dead people know hex, then only deaf people know hex.

On another topic, I'm thinking we may want to increase the timer on this game for awhile. Especially with the multiple wars going on, and turn splits seeming to cause people to possibly miss their normal play times, hence needing to wait to their next window. We've been needing to pause it pretty much every turn currently. So maybe for the time being, we should have it increase to 48 hours? That's kind of the pace we've been on at the moment anyway. If things settle down where we are actually back to getting the turns done quicker than that, we can always put it back to 24hrs.
Or I guess we just keep pausing it whenever more than half the clock has gone by. I guess that would have the same result. Heh.

I increased the timer to 44 hours, should be close enough to two days. Although that doesn't require anyone to use the full timer....
