Thanks, Auro! That looks like it should be everything. I should be able to finish everything by the end of the weekend. Busy in the afternoon for both Saturday and Sunday, but it doesn't sound like this will take more than a couple hours max. Might even be able to get you all starting pics tonight, no promises though. Going to be at work for the next couple hours in any event.

Btw, you all should decide if you want the Adepts to be able to use your civ's starting manas. That was prohibited in the original game, but only because it could have potentially led to players having access to six spells.

This is not quite accurate.


The Adepts in the original were level 4 with zero exp (ie 0/17 xp for non Cha leaders). We had our pick of 3 level 1 spells and were required to spend the "free" Adept promotion on Combat 1.

Adepts who actually managed to get enough exp to level up again were free to use whatever promotions were available without restriction.

I actually like v11 a bit more because the new "turn counter" in v12 is a bit annoying (it messes the logs too somewhat IIRC). But on the other hand it'd be nice to maybe use some of the new features of v12.
