Not necessary IMO. Adept always starts with a free promo. Or was there some misunderstanding with this among others?

I agree - you can use free promo on anything. first game they used free promo on combat 1, but that was because they got 3 free spells rather than 1.

If people disagree with this, will have to replay my first turn.

Ditto to what jalepeno said (including having to replay the first turn); I thought Molach was trying to be funny.

I'm 100% willing to replay the first turn if Molach wants to use a different promotion scheme.

I'm ok with either, but if Molach spent his promo assuming a rule that the rest of us weren't, we should restart. Fortunately no mapmaker tweaking is needed so it wouldn't delay us much.

Huh, really? That was done to fix bugs in turn counting in v11.1. I get that it didn't fix them fully, but the logs problem was definitely there in v11. What did you find annoying about it that's not in the logs?

Hmm... I thought the logs disappearing came with the new "turn n - n+1" -thing but now that I checked PBEM 43 I found they did disappear in v11.1 too. Sorry about that.
