Settled in place, obv.:

Going BW first because I didn't actually bother to sim anything and also never will and having a Worker chop out another Worker sounds strong? Little worried about when I'll find time to actually grow the city, but hey YOLO or whatever!

...Do people still say "YOLO"? I may have missed that train.

Anyway, next 20 or so turns will probably be dull unless we're on a super tiny map and Warrior antics happen, but ideally the pace mitigates the boredom some.

I always find YOLO to be interesting because it can be used in completely contradictory ways:

You Only Live Once - so take care of yourself and make sure you can experience more of it

vs.

You Only Live Once - experience as much as you can and never mind the risks because you might die tomorrow anyway

I've known people to post it, but I don't think actually say in conversation.

Mhmm, kind of like "Spare the rod, spoil the child".

Sorry for the lack of updates. Always find it difficult to justify spending 10 min preparing a post on a 10 second turn.

Anyway, here's the current state of my civ:

I'm totally just winging everything. First city founded t28 IIRC, a little slower than I preferred but the rough terrain cost a couple turns. Just finished producing my 3rd worker, going to 2-turn a settler next. Then a quick warrior followed by another settler- or maybe a granary. Who knows! Not I!

If anyone wants to suggest Smash pros names, please feel free, I don't have much idea of what a proper order is & have already forgotten most from the documentary.

This is current players, rather than the ones from the video, but:

Thanks, I'd prefer to use players who are among the all-time greats though, even if it means they're long since retired.

Mango is the coolest, so name your best city after him.

Obv, if you ever have a city w/o first-ring food, that's gotta be Hungrybox.

I like Isai, as portrayed in the documentary.
