We believe we'll get the techs the same turn then. If I say something will happen on a turn (tech/wonder etc) I generally talk about the turn we can use the thing (see the resources, know that we've gotten the wonder etc) so for instance getting calendar + masonry t89 to me is the same as your (probably more correct) e.o.t. 88.

Quote:we can whip the Libray in pukila after we grow to 5, and after strat a setler for future maoi. And yeah lapua can stay 3-4 more turns without the wheat .I think we should build a road conection between NUmmijvari and alomo so we can go with workers around easier.

For now, I don't think the road is necessary. Bobbie should finish the road on pigs since he's on the hill anyway and has put 1t into a road, but then I believe he's more needed roading (or chopping) the gems jungle.

Shame about the misclicks. Andrea in particular would've been nice if could've finished the riverside mine at Jutas so we wouldn't have to use a grass forest at size 6 building the settler, but no worries, it's just a couple of turns if we whip nod

Only slightly worrying aspect is that Serdoa is showing 4 military units by Svartholm and built a road on cows, what's that about? We hardly have any units to send up to city 5 either...

Next turn I will take control of the workers near Nummijärvi:
Andrea, Charlie and Georgie.
I'm also going to need Kim (who is farming next to Lapua), but he can farm for 1t more before I need to move him up.
It won't be any particularly impressive worker micro for this wonder. (We're more restricted by having to 1-pop whip twice in order to get the last 60h). It might still be good idea though that one person is in charge of moving the workers around to avoid hiccups.

Actually sleeping on it, it might be that we need one more worker in the area. Not for the wonder, but to farm the wheat for city 5. City 5 could be planted t83(?), but that is the same turn the "wonder-workers" will move to start pre chopping forests as a general rule and then they are busy until t90 or so. Will investigate.

So a quick recap:

t78 we founded our latest city "Virta" (which means stream in Finnish and was the scene of a battle where in 1808 about 1800 Swedes/Finns beat about 6000 Russians).
This city won't amount to much really (I was even thinking about whether a granary won't be worth it...), but the one reason for its existence can be spelled gold.

This brings us up to 10 cities (!), so I think I'll add an overview of our empire:

Also worth mentioning:
DZ founded his 5th (food poor, but nice) city this turn claiming double silver.
This meant Fintourist was teleported. Sadly to a still trapped location.
If DZ wants to kill him he can, but I think we should stay on the tile he is on now as borders will pop eventually and we'll get a good shot at teleportation to sugar. At least if my eyes aren't deceiving me and there indeed is an ikhanda in this picture:

A further note. Cheater Hater has founded 3 cities recently (7 cities total) and last turn he built the Hanging Gardens. I'm guessing it's a decent build if he's got some plans for the GE, otherwise more of a so so build.

Got it boss, indeed we have to few military units , we need to produce more becasue we have a big empire. Will finish the road and move for choping jungle, i wnated to road because i belived you need more workers in the area, but if 4 are enough then is alright.

Checked through Civstats and I'm 99,5% sure that Commodore is the one who got it. It's good in the way that we now actually might have a chance to get a religion spread if we want to use such civics. But it's also bad in the way that Commodore was looking like one of our biggest rivals even before this development.

The remaining 0,5% are Donovan who was the only other player to research a classical tech. I don't think he's anywhere near the research capacity to get it though, especially not in 7t (which was when he last got a tech). We also have vision on the city most likely to become the holy city and it's not present there so, yeah, Commodore got it. Would've been interesting to know who would've won the coin flip though. Could've been a pretty different game if we had succeeded there...

Quote:we wil have masoneri with calendar at eot of 86 see if that changes your micro.
Wow, 2 turns quicker? That will change things...
...ok, if I'm not mistaken we can speed up the wonder by 1t, but not by 2t (it's possible we could've gotten it 1t quicker still if we had had a perfect micro plan in place 10t ago or so, but as I believe it would've involved settling "city5" much quicker it's on the kind of level of planning that's ridiculous to even attempt doing).
Actually it doesn't matter if we get Calendar + Masonry on e.o.t. 86 or e.o.t. 87. The limiting factor is mostly how quick we can grow to size 3 (while still maintaining a decent hammer output).

t79 size 1: 10/22f 4/25h archer Steal wheat from Jutas
t80 14/22f 6/25h archer
t81 18/22f 8/25h archer
t82 size 2: 0/24f 10/25h archer Wheat + cows
t83 5/24f 15/25h archer Swap from archer to chariot
t84 10/24f 5/30h chariot
t85 15/24f 10/30h chariot
t86 20/24f 15/30h chariot
t87 size 3: 1/26f 20/30h chariot: Whip chariot working cows + horses (8hpt)
t88 size 2: 3/24f 28/60 MoM,
t89 size 2: 5/24f 36/60 MoM, Switch to archer and whip off horses [archer 49/25 (4hpt)]
t90 size 1: 8/22f 60/60 MoM
t91 size 1: 11/22f MoM finished at 456/450

I'll go and figure out the worker movements now. Will probably be less roads and more wasted turns than in the first version, but think it'll be all right.
As I said earlier. I don't think I need more workers for the wonder, but "city 5" will probably be without worker love until t91 and during 2 turns it won't even be able to use horses as those are needed in Nummijärvi. Will still check if I can spare some worker turns for the wheat in the t83 -> t90 period.

Ok, have figured out a set of worker movements/actions at Nummijärvi for the next 10:ish turns that I'm satisfied with.
I haven't put a single turn in the wheat farm by city5 before the wonder is built. Unless we send one more worker to here, the farm is ready on t93 (which will do decently as long as we go granary first).
Roads will be pretty much where I want them and they're not wastefully spread.
2 worker turns have been put in the iron mine before the wonder finishes.
1 worker turn will be put into the hill mine by Jutas.
And that are basically all actions. I'll post the full set of worker actions in the spoiler so I don't lose them.

t79: move to ph 1NE of Jutas

Yes, that is correct. We'll get it between t90 and 91 providing:
- nobody beats us to it
- I haven't and won't screw up worker micro
- Serdoa doesn't settle towards us and steals a forest that way.
- Donovan doesn't snipe any of our workers. (This last point is a real worry, a single impi could cause us trouble as we don't have enough units in the area to defend Nummijärvi, city 5 (or its settler) and all workers.)

Some other things.
As we got sailing we now have the potential to trade resources with Commodore, REM, Donovan and Serdoa. Sadly we don't have a trade connection to Elkad (who has silver and who I'd like to prop up) or CH.
REM and Serdoa both have a spare gold. We'll get our own online shortly, but do we want to trade gems for 10t? Commodore also has gems so do we want to trade with others just to try to lock Com out of the happiness sharing?
Similarily Donovan will shortly have another silver. Do we wish to trade with him? I'm guessing no since we like his growth stunted, but I guess it'd be good to decide before we start receiving trade offers.

We could whip the settler in Jutas next turn, but I'm starting to think we might be better off waiting a turn. That would be one less turn having the city without enough defenders and we could really use the extra overflow on a unit...

Unless you've noticed it otherwise I can tell you that I'm slowly warming to the idea of Alavo as a NE-city. Initially it'll be fine just setting it up normally with infrastructure to use those gems and pop, but later on it could really get a nice food bonus and it even has some hammers for the national wonder. Definitely factoring into this decision is how we now have settled Nummijärvi and Virta without really competing for the resources. In contrast Jutas now shares 1 of its three food sources and eventually we'll plant/capture two more cities such that all food resources can be split into other cities.

we depend on the last whip i supose not on forest chop?Becasue otherwise i am dispose to send some more worker even for 1 turn faster.Lets hope DZ will not interfeer, if he interfeer we will drop the plan as dont wanna invest and lose it.

Yeah, it's the whip that is crucial.
Really it's getting enough hammers into the units to make the whip useful and growing to size 3. Chops also need to be timed to come in on t88 and t90. T89 they would just get eaten in overflow.

I don't think Donovan will send an attack force at us, but the risk is he might send an impi scouting for a place to settle near "city5", come in at our diagonal and we're left with one axe and one chariot trying to defend our city and a worker that's chopping away...
